My kids fell in love with my samsung I had to get them one for christmas. My husband was jealous I got kids samsung than I had to get him one. So all four of us has Samsung Tab 3 in the house. We just love them.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight

Only 8 GB Memory and no ability to move apps to an SD card

Only a few apps will fit before you run out of the 8 GB memory. It has the capacity for a 64 GB SD Card, but to my horror it won't let you move apps to the SD card, only pictures, music etc. It doesn't make sense to not have the ability to move apps to the SD card with a device with only 8 GB of internal memory and the ability to accept up to a 64 GB SD card. What is the point of the 64 GB if not for apps. If you need to use a lot of apps, this isn't the tablet for you.

Cons: Did not meet expectations

I love my tab 3 I use 24 I for my favorite apps has a great shape its not heavy I love ot it fits perfectly in my hand

Cons: needs a adobe flash player, needs option to move to sd for apps

The screen quality is awsome, the sound quality is cool and it is easy to use.

Average for short term fix-maybe not for long term use of tablet

I bought a tablet for each of my two kids, a white one and a brown one, for Christmas last year. I felt like I did a fair amount of research before selecting the Samsung Tablets (based off of reviews and price.) We thought the quality and performance was awesome for the first month or so. But once the kids loaded an app or two onto their tablets, each began having performance issues. Slow to load, slow to play, sometimes they lock up. I had to return one because it would not charge with the provided charger and we couldn't even turn it on. After a lot of back and forth with the people that deal with the warranty, I was finally able to get the brown tablet fixed and sent back. (The inside charging port was somehow damaged.)
I thought they were rather spendy for the amount of storage you get. They do work awesome for emails, sports updates, etc. But when it comes to watching videos or playing games, they can be unreliable.
I would highly recommend purchasing a warranty if you purchase this tablet. High storage would be good too, assuming that helps the performance.
Sleek design, durable as far as the device (not so much the charging port), and they look nice.
My recommendation would be to do a lot of research before purchasing.
