I wanted an RF remote, so I was disappointed to start with. However, the report is nice and fairly easy to use. The problem I have is that, for a simple entertainment system, the cable remote is better suited.
What's great about it: nice interface with computer
What's not so great: nothing special
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tedious to program and poor battery life

It took me a number of tries to get the remote to perform the way I thought it should given the directions. Don't begin this unless you have some time on your hands. Once programmed, the remote worked great, but it doesn't seem to hold a charge very long, even after being charged all night long. This is my biggest complaint.

Poor Quality for a Harmony

I have owned several Harmony Remotes over the last 8 years. This is very poor Harmony remote, probably why it was 50% off.
Setup was easy, but very limited on customizations.
Remote was very slow when using Activites. The remote transmits for over a minute just to to turn on the TV and Cable Box.
Help Feature has been really crippled.
Lots of reviews about how others loved it, they probably haven't owned previous models and are not used to a Quality Harmony Remote.
What's great about it: Best Buys Return policy
What's not so great: Nothing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was easy to set up and works very well. The only problem is that after two charges the batterys would not recharge. Simply replaaced them with regular batterys.

Got the new Samsung TV with surround sound, blu-ray DVD player and a DVR. So this remote works all of these. I hate this remote!!! Most of the time when I turn on the TV and the surround sound is supposed to come on, the TV comes on but the other doesn't! And it's the same when you turn it off. The TV goes off, but the surround sound doesn't!! Turning the volume up and down is horrible!! You can't just turn it up or down a couple notches, it's either way up or way down and you have to keep working to get it where you want it!
What's great about it: Haven't figured that out yet!!!!
What's not so great: This remote!

i have Fire Tv Stick. My DVR remote does not control input on my TV, so I have 3 remotes to use. I know, gross. So, this was on sale for $59. Totally worth it. It's worth the full price. It won't control Fire TV because this remote is IR and Fire remote is Bluetooth. But I pared down from 3 remotes to 2. That's progress. This controls my Samsung DVR and my Dynex TV. I'm still a bit confused on how to properly use it. My GF has to help. But once you get the hang of it, you will be excited. I'm sure they will make a Harmony with Bluetooth, which I will have to get.

I have owned the Harmony 720, 880, and Harmony One. I replaced them all with this one. It is, in my opinion, better than the others. The 720 and 880 buttons were too small and delicate, and the One was too fragile with the touch screen sensitive. The 700 is easiest to use, can be compatible with an RF extender, was less expensive (got the $119.00 sale price), and most durable. It does not have the cradle, but Harmony has decreased cords by 1/2, so it is greener. Besides, we need to maybe get off our seats to do one extra thing (plug in to recharge), as we already have convenience of the one remote. I also like the color much more. You will like this product! By the way, Best Buy has become a favorite store of mine, because the customer service has risen to the top!
What's great about it: Price, quality, design.
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
