To put it simple, I was using three remotes for direct tv satallite, tv, and home theater systems. I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews. In about a half hour all my remotes were included into the logitech controled by one button. I couldn't believe it, but it was just like it says, one touch for everything. The only bad thing I could see is if you have more than 6 systems to control. I have three systems and it is a lifesaver. I would have liked to buy something less than the $150 it sells for, but the remote is unreal!
What's great about it: Controls all units with one touch
What's not so great: price is kinda steep
I would recommend this to a friend!

All in one remote

It does almost everything I wanted it to do. The remote will not turn on the Wii but that's fine because the Wii remote can turn it on and I need to use it to play games anyway.
With exception to the Wii it turns everything on. I have a Samsun LED tv, TiVo, Yamaha receiver, LG Blue-ray player, DirectTV receiver.
The only frustrating part was setting up the TiVo and DirectTV remote. The setup asks me to point the remotes at each other and press certain keys. It took several tries to get that worked out. I had to move the remote around until it got the signal. The set up took me about 1.5 hrs to finish. Half an hour was to look for the model number on all my devices and load the software.
I do like the remote once everything is set up. The device comes with Sanyo rechargeable batteries and you can buy additional batteries and chargers at Costco. I have not had to charge it but it's only been a month. The one button watch mode is awesome. It turns on the devices that needs to turn on and selects the right input/output. My small complaint is that the functions on the button does not work while it's configuring your home theater system. You have to wait for it to finish. Normally not a problem unless the volume was turned up high when it was on last. You have to wait for the remote to finish before the functions on the buttons will work. I wish there was a way to reduce that configuration time. It's about 3-5 seconds too long.
Custom hot key buttons are a plus. Instead of finding the function on the color screen I just program the hot key button on the functions I use the most.
Well worth the money and hassle if you have someone that is not tech savvy or don't like to sit with 4 remotes in your lap. Once it's set up even a caveman can operate it. Will probably buy one for my in law next Christmas.
What's great about it: Finds all my devices, extra hot key buttons
What's not so great: does not support Wii, long wait time when switching to different modes
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you're tired of having 3,4 or more remotes around this is the remote for you. It is a little pricey at $150, but compared to some of the higher end Logitech remotes, it's not that bad... and I am sure they are wonderful too. I can control my television, cable box, dvd player, surround sound and netflix player all from here. I was even able to buy an adapter that lets me control my bluetooth ps3! It had problems with controlling my surround sound, and I simply pointed to surround sound remote at this one, went through a few steps and it learned what signals to send. It can be a little difficult to set up, but I pride myself on being pretty decent at this type of thing...and let me tell you, you can do everything with this.
You set up activities, like watch tv...which it turns the tv on, and then to the input it needs to be on, and turns on your cable box. It even let me create quick keys for the cable box to go right to my dvr. Amazing. I hit watch a movie. Turns the cable box off, turns the tv to input 2, and turns on my ps3. Absolutely amazing. I hit the volume...and my surround sound is effected not the tv volume. You can set the buttons up how ever you like. Absolutely wonderful. And if you're lazy like me, you can set it up with the favorite channels feature... you don't need to read anything, just use the picture of the networks icon click it. Everything is completely customizable. The set up even had an option to control lighting if you have remote lights. You get 30 days of free support upon purchase... so if you do have trouble with the set up, have all your remotes ready, but just call them and they can get you through it.
SIMPLY GREAT REMOTE THAT DELIVERS WHAT IT PROMISES!!!
What's great about it: Not having six different remotes. The learning features from old remotes.
What's not so great: Set up is a little timely, but necessary.

The online set-up was fast and easy. I like the way you can program multiple components to turn on to your pre-specified settings and input selections with the touch of a single button. The view screen is great and is easy to navigate through all the functions of each of your components. The only reason I rated it less than 5 on ease of use is because it does take a little playing around to get used to it. I also think this kind of technology maybe doesn't need to cost quite this much, but who am I to say!
What's great about it: Easy online programming and set-up
What's not so great: A little pricy in my opinion.

Logitech makes programming their remotes very easy, and what is better is that since I upgraded from a cheaper Logitech remote all my system devices were already in the program. I really enjoy picking up the remote and seeing the back lighting already on. Very convenient. The buttons seem to work better than the last one I had, they almost click so you know that you have pressed it. The rechargeable batteries are great. It lasts a long time on one charge. I used to own a fully programmable touch screen remote years ago and this remote works great and is much cheaper.
What's great about it: Easy to program, buttons work with ease. The best part is how the display lights up when you pick up the remote.
What's not so great: Can't really think of anything.

The setup could not have been easier. Charged it up, hooked it up to the computer and followed the online instructions. Counting the time to record the model numbers of my components it took about 25 minutes. All of the functions of my 3 remotes (TV, Cable Box and receiver) were carried over to this one. I plan on getting the PS 3 adapter soon and expect that to be just as simple. I also like the fact that when you pick it up, everything illuminates automatically. The only complaint I can think of is that the Activity buttons at the top of the remote do not illuminate. If the room is dark and you want to switch from "Watch TV" to "Listen to Music" it can be difficult to find the right button.
What's great about it: 1 remote! Set up was very easy, step-by-step instructions on the website.
What's not so great: Activity buttons do not illuminate

I was having trouble with my Dish Network remote and quite frankly was tired of having 4 remotes to deal with so I started looking for an advanced universal remote to replace everything. I did go into my search with the thought that I wanted a Logitech remote so it really wasn't a surprise that I ended up with this one, it does everything I want it to and its ease of use made it a good fit for my techno-phobe wife as well. I like how the remote actually learns as you use it, the first couple times I used it to watch a show off the Dish receiver it would not set the TV to the correct HDMI input but after telling it was wrong twice it hasn't messed up since. The only knock I would have about the remote is that it is a bit pricey, I would think that by now this technology would have come down considerably in price.
What's great about it: ease of use, now we use only one remote!
What's not so great: Price

Really nice remote. One button operation, once you have it set up. Having your setup loaded from the computer makes it really nice, "Just in case". Programming is actually pretty easy, once you figure out the fact that most of the programming is done for you....... don't over think the steps.
The only thing I really don't like is the so called, ergonomic design. It looks like the housing was designed by an art school flunk out. The rounded bottom by the batteries makes it hard to hold and press buttons with one hand.
What's great about it: Awesome amount of configurations available
What's not so great: Ergonomics
