Except for the necessity of needing an expert to program this remote, this is the BEST remote ever. So EASY to use. Controls TV, blu-ray player, CD player, turntable, radio, cassette player, and more with straight forward English messages and function buttons. Love it!

Setup was easy once I installed the Logitech Harmony Remote Software 7. The My Harmony software would not recognize my TiVo unit. The Hamony Remote 7 software made it easy to setup my TV, TiVo and Bose sound system. I also was easily able to setup my Sony Blue Ray player and Bose sound system with ease. This remote was excatly what I was looking for.
What's great about it: Easy setup!!!
What's not so great: A bit pricey
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Setup!

I bought this remote wanting a relief from the four remotes that control my tv. I love love love this remote. I could not ask for more with the ease of Setting it up. Charged it for three hours, pluged in to my computer and viola about 10 mins later i was controling everything. It even control's my cox communications cable box. No more need for the boxy remote it came with. I would buy this again. I have already told family and freinds about how awesome it is.
What's great about it: Ease of Setup!
What's not so great: Not very long charging cord.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Using 3 remotes for DirecTV, surround sound, TV and Blueray was getting to be an issue. I researched the "universal" remotes and decided on the Harmony 700. A great choice. Easy to set up! Allows me to do everything + some that I need from one remote. I liked it so much I bought another for the bedroom!

What's not so great: So far, nothing.

Replaced the more expensive Harmony All in One

I had just had my second Harmony all in one touch screen due to dog / hardwood floor damage. My wife insisted on two requirements:
1. same ease of use
2. better durability!
This gem fits the bill on both counts. Instead of the pretty touch screen, there is a basic LCD and buttons to the side. I am fine with that. In fact, the buttons are smoother and more responsive than on the Harmony One!
Setup was a breeze because Logitech's software imported my setting from the Harmony One and we were up and running in 5 minutes.
This has been chewed on by the dog and has been dropped on the hardwood a couple of times with no negative effect. 5 STARS!
What's great about it: Easy setup, durable.
What's not so great: Nothing

Picked this remote up on black friday and am very satisfied with it at the price I paid. However, I wouldn't recommend this remote at full price or to someone not willing to take the time to customize it. That being said if your willing to take some time and customize this remote for your entertainment system needs. You will really enjoy this device

This remote if great! Super easy to program. I typed the number wrong for one of my items and it found the correct one and asked me to confirm the number! The directions say it will take about 45min to program, it took me only about 20min! That was installing 4 items. The remote has every feature that the remotes you are replacing have. It can also control my A/C, and my electric fire place! Anyone needing a universal remote and don't want the $400 super fancy one should get this!.
