But, the time spent is more than made up for by the ease and convenience of using one button to turn on and set all devices for watching TV or Blu-Ray player. amazing remote

We were coming from the harmony 650, which we loved! The 700 was on sale for black Friday and we decided to upgrade. The main upgrade from the 650 to 700 is using regular batteries in the 650 to a rechargeable unit in the 700. This remote is remarkably easy to set up and works flawlessly!

Good universal remote

This is a good universal remote. It would be better if it had a cradle for charging. So far I have found that it does not have all the features as my previous Harmony remote, but I may just not have found them yet either. It does do what it is intended for, I just miss some of the extra bells and whistles.

I like it...very easy setup and easy to use if you think about what you are trying to accomplish. Most of the time is does exactly what you intended it to do but if not the on-screen help feature will walk you through to fix whatever did not turn on or off. It even has a sleep mode and wakes up when you move it. Great remote for the money.

Love my Harmony

I own several higher-end Harmony remotes, but this one -- the 700-- is nearly as good at less than 1/4 the price. I really like how you can automate the turning on and off of several devices. The web interface is so easy, and harmony can handle nearly any device --- even hard to find ones like my HDMI switch. Love this prodcut.
