I can honestly say that this control works better than I expected, this to the use of "Activities", I briefly read about it before I made my purchase but I quickly dismissed it as some form of bloatware, at least in my experience this is not the case and it makes the use of home theaters and home theater-like set ups extremely seamless.
I've only found that it doesn't play nice with devices included in an "Activity" which turn on or off automatically, it's not a real problem as I only have to block the control´s IR emitter with my hand while turning the activity on (so as to not actually turn the devices off if it has turned on automatically, and vice versa) I only wish there was a more elegant solution to this.
Also a real impressive data base for IR codes, obviously there's no problem with the newer devices (read less than 10 years old) but I could successfully configure an old TV which didn't explicitly appear in the listed models, this is done answering a series of questions about it in the configuration software which didn't take me more than 10 minutes.
All in all, a great purchase.

Great Universal Remote

I bought this remote for my parents who have multiple devices and just as many remotes. It's extremely frustrating for them and me working multiple remotes to turn on the TV, cable box and sound system just to watch TV.

I love the simplicity of the Harmony remote. One button turns on all the devices required for a task like watching TV or a DVD and also sets the correct port like HDMI 2 for something like the DVD player. Based on the device you are using the remote knows all of the original remotes functions and makes them available based on the task you are doing.

Setting up the remote using the Logitech website is a little challenging and you may need to test the remote a few times to get all the setting right. Once it's all done you have just One, yes only one remote that is simple and easy to use.
