easy to setup and works great

I have balked at spending $200-$300 or more on a programmable remote that would handle my home theater area. Some of those are missing some basic keys - like skip ahead on a Blu-ray - or were unable to control two different displays (projector & plasma). I was skeptical of the 700, but the reviews were very good and the price was great. I'm glad I gave it a try because the device list is very comprehensive and included all of my devices, and configuring the activities is very slick and easy. Connect it to a PC, download the program, identify your devices, setup your activities (ie. Watch Dish, Watch Blu-Ray, etc.), sync to the remote, and done! It couldn't be easier or work more effectively!!

Good replacement for Harmony One

My harmony one remote was dying.... the LCD screen was getting worse and worse. Luckily for me Logitech replaced it with the Harmony Ultimate remote. Great customer service from Logitech, unfortunately the remote is not what I had expected. once you get used to a remote for over 5 years, its hard to replace it. So i decided to try the Harmony 700... functionality very similar to the Harmony One and it is rechargeable. I have had it for a week and love it so far. The only downside is that there is no cradle to drop the remote in to charge.

Bought this for my parents and at less than $50 this is a great product with a slight learning curve. Once you get everything setup it works seamlessly and can replace the pile of remotes that can get confusing for some.
