Going from a flip phone to the Samsung was the best thing I ever did. The ease at which it was to learn and all the functions gives me plenty to do and making changes are a ease. Going with the Samsung was by far the best thing I could of done.
I upgraded from an I Phone 3 to a Galaxy S4 Active. I love its color, and sleekness. But my most favorite feature is that I can actually see the font! On my I Phone I could not make the font as large as I needed. This phone takes great pictures. I would recommend it to everyone. Love it!
This is one of the best cell phones I have ever own. I really like the android apps and how easy it is to use. I like everything about this phone. It's size and weight is perfect.
My first smart fone and I love it. Picture is very clear. Features are simple to use. Many apps are already in the phone. Fun fun fun...The active is also more durable.
it was easy to learn how to use the product and doesn't add any other complications
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: the gorilla glass did break
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a phone. Great display, great pictures, great for beginners and experts alike, and you can add storage so you basically don't have anything on the device itself to slow it down! Except of course all those preinstalled apps that you don't want, can't remove, and turn themselves on automatically to use up ALL your RAM.
I constantly find I'm using 80-89% of my RAM when I have ONE app running. I use my trusty app to clear out my RAM and after it closes all those programs I don't even want, I'm back down to 20-30% of my RAM. For less than five minutes before they turn themselves back on again! It makes the phone run so slow that using more than one app at a time is impossible (therefore absolutely NO multitasking capabilities) and even with only one app running it takes much longer than it ever should (and ever has on other Samsung phones I've owned).
My battery lasts anywhere from 5-6 hours now. I had to uninstall Facebook and Messenger because when I had them on here it only lasted 2 hours, TOPS. Then it takes between 8 and 9 hours to charge. Be prepared to have a charger in every room of your house, in your car, and at your desk. Invest in long, retractable ones so you can move around AND not trip on wires.
I've had it for four months and it's been replaced twice under warranty, both times for the same issue. At some point it starts heating up as soon as you turn the screen on, and within 5-10 minutes of use it's so hot the screen starts to fry. Quickly turn it off & take out the battery, let it cool for a couple hours, put it back together... And same thing!! Luckily it's been under warranty both times. Unfortunately I have better things to do than hang out at the warranty center every two months. Also, the warranty center let me know that this phone is by FAR the one giving them the most trouble.
All in all, I would REALLY like this phone - if it worked. And it has a LOT of potential. Unfortunately, "potential" doesn't equal usability in its current state, and I can't wait to get rid of this. It's a shame, I've always liked Samsung before, I'll definitely buy from them again, but I would NOT recommend this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, great camera
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, runs very slow, battery lasts less than 6 hours, takes 8-9 hours to charge
