Needs In-Pocket Detection

Samsung, please update the firmware and add in-pocket detection. This phone does strange things in my pocket. I have pocket posted to social websites, texted and dialed. The other day, I heard my brother's voice coming from my front pocket.
I do not want to wear this phone in a case on my belt. I find the in pocket behavior of this phone unacceptable. My older generation phone from a different manufacturer had in pocket detection and I never had these issues with that phone.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: needs in pocket detection
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Active 4 isn't very tolerant

As a smart phone, the active is what you would expect. However, don't assume it is rugged. However, any corner shot will result in cracked screen. IT IS NOT SHOCK RESISTANT ! ! ! ! ! Go into it with your eyes open.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not shock resistant
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone surprised me

I've had this phone for quite awhile now and have heard horror stories about over heating and not being as hardy as claimed. Mine has got hot a couple of times can't recall doing anything special at those times. But I want to tell you about is dropping my S4 active in a drain pan of diesel fuel and thinking the worst I picked it out wiped it of and to my surprise it still worked. When I got home that evening the speaker sounded kind of funny like under water so I thought here is the end. Well I figure with nothing to loose I sprayed the speaker and microphone with Brakleen to remove any diesel fuel that might be in them and the phone has been fine ever since. Now that's tough.
Pros: Durable, diesel fuel proof

The galaxy s4 active is one of the best phone out there. I like this phone a lot better than the iphone and other phones because it bigger, has better technology, and has so many more features than any other phone.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: expensive

I love this phone. It is like having a computer with me all the time. I can check and send email, do photos, go on the internet to do research on things I want to buy, or places to go, and the best part, it is also a GPS. Love this phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is the best phone I have ever had. I like the extra protection the Active provides. The Android operating system is clean and easy to use. Interface to other hardware's like printer, on board car computer, other Samsung phones and WIFI works wonderful. The best thing I can say is will I buy another Samsung phone when I need one is YES.
