The radio is of good quality, however, reception tends to drop when the unit is placed into a pocket as it causes the digital signal to disappear. Although an arm band is provided I would have preferred a belt clip.
What's great about it: Reception and sound quality is very good even with included earphones
What's not so great: Reception can disappear when radio is placed in pocket. Should have come with belt clip

This portable HD radio is easy to figure out how to use and to take around with you anywhere. The reception is good, and I can tune in to most HD stations in my area, with the drawback of a lack of many good stations in the SF Bay area.
What's great about it: Small and easy to use
What's not so great: Long time to charge battery (four hours)

Bought this to use in the car, as my head unit tuner is dying (but aux input works just fine). Got lots of HD channels when I tried it at home, but in the car, only 3 or 4, but they are ones I listen to the most anyway. Flimsy feeling, the buttons are not very responsive. Would have paid a bit more for something with a higher quality feel and better on the go reception, but this was so reasonably priced, I feel I got my money's worth. With the construction and materials, I can't imagine it will have a very long life span, however. I have no problems with battery life, a full charge easily lasts me 5 days of commuting.
What's great about it: Good unit for the price, good sound quality in HD. Receiption great at home

This was the only HD pocket type radio I could find at a reasonable price, so I took a chance on it - especially since it was made for Best Buy - a reputable name. I have been very happy with the radio overall and, if you're thinking about trying HD, then I'd give this one a try before I spent a lot on something else. The thing I'm most impressed with is the sound quality. To me, it's like laying there listening to my mp3 or cd player. The stereo coming in from radio amazes me, but I'm an older guy and remember when radios had tubes. Bottom line - I would buy this radio again; I would recommend it to family or a friend. Good luck.
What's great about it: more stations; better sound quality; less disclaimer type ads
What's not so great: I wish it displayed the time.

This is a dandy little radio if you don't require AM. I use miniature radios when I'm out on my bike, and this is one of the smaller, easier to manipulate units on the market.
I don't have any special need for HD, but it works pretty well. Occasionally there will be an echo for a second or two, and some (not all) HD channels fade in and out, and the HD delay results in you hearing the same phrase twice (and/or losing a phrase). Personally, I don't find this particularly troublesome. In addition, the volume dips briefly from time to time. Again, doesn't disqualify the unit -- the decrease is slight.
Why four stars with thesee qualifications? (1) The little screen is terrific, easy to read, lots of info. (2) Sound quality is excellent, perfectly balanced even with cheap headphones. (3) Fits nicely in your pocket and comes with an arm strap. (4) USB charge lasts a long time.
Well worth a try.
What's great about it: Cool screen, good sound, perfect size

I like having the ability to use the auxilary to plug the radio into my trucks radio which then gives me HD radio for my truck at a very reasonable price. I do have some trouble with the ability to pick up some stations that I thought would be perfectly clear. Overall though I am please with the quality of the sound and the functinality of the product.
What's great about it: The auxilary hookup capability
What's not so great: Some problems maintaining station signals as I drive along and turn different directlions in my truck.

I purchased this for the FM only as I do not have HD in my rural area. Since changing all of my stereo systems with ipod compatible products, I was lacking an FM tuner with my components. This little radio can be hooked into the line output on my ipod speaker system which gives me FM when I want it without the bulk of another unit. It's also great for headphone use but I mainly wanted it to bring FM back into my home. Cool little thing. Hopefully HD will make it to my neck of the woods and it will be an added bonus. For now, it's doing exactly what I purchased it for.
