I received the first edition of this product as a Christmas gift several years ago. Battery life was short, reception was sketchy, especially when connecting it to my FM transmitter in my car. This updated edition looks much improved and works somewhat better but still has issues with the FM transmitter (I believe that it isn't providing sufficient antenna support since the radio uses the headphone cable as it's antenna and the FM transmitter's cable is shielded).

1) Battery life is horrible, especially holding a charge when not in use is
2) Reception indoors is spotty, works great at home, no reception at work
and lastly not the radios fault but the number of HD channels available in my area is very limited
