This is a wonderful product, exactly what i expected from Klipsch. this product has alot of wires when the two little speakers are closer together, but it has awesome sound quality. I would recommend this product to any one.
What's great about it: Price, Apperance, Sound

Very Good to Excellent Sound

I have several computers. I have a set of the Bose Companion 2 Speakers and head to head on the same computer - these blow the Bose set out of the water. No comparison. So good I can't imagine that an extra $100 gets you anything better.
I like audio with Boston Acoustics and B&W on my television.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Across your feet from the subwoofer you know it's great!
Seriously, for a 2.1 system it has incredible sound!
Picked it up on sale for $120!
What's great about it: I can NOT take it above half power!
What's not so great: I didn't buy it sooner!

Worth the price

So I bought these speaker being a long time Kilpsch owner, having had a few products of theirs in the past. Great quality speakers, awesome subwoofer. Definitely worth the price, however, I did notice sum static when playing a few game WoW being one of them. Dont know whether to blame it on the server or the speakers. But then again on Bad company 2 I felt like I was in the warzone with the subwoofer on the floor and a grenade blowing up... you feel it. turning the vlume up too high will make the subwoofer pop a bit, but its truely beyond the listening comfort level anyway so not a big deal. And one other minor complaint, the satelite's stand does look a little goofy on a $500 computer desk with one satelite not having the volume controls, there is a big gap underneath the speaker itself. But over all a great choice especially for the price, either these or Bose, Bose being the supurior brand but not offering the same power, had to go with the ones that were $250 cheaper. Buy these definitely, but keep it low, the neghbors might call the police..... ; )
What's great about it: The bass really give more emphasis on the BOOM effect in action movies and games.
What's not so great: Subwoofer starts popping when you turn the volume up too loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good computer speakers, great tv speakers

Buying online, I was not able to listen to Klipsch's competitors, so I can't say which are the best for the price (and with speakers, 'best' is relative as people's opinions on speakers are quite subjective#. But as someone who is an audio nut, I can say these sound quite good for the money.
I'll also note the Klipsch's website list a 6.5" sub, but the manual lists an 8". However, based on the size of the box, I'm inclined to believe 6.5".
If you want computer speakers that sound good for the money, go ahead and buy these. If you want to read my 'audiophile' nit picking, read on. My initial impressions are based on sitting close to the speakers, about 2' away, which I imagine is typical in a pc setup. The horn tweeters are too bright and over power the mids. The mids being small #3" drivers# leave a gap between themselves and sub. The sub is pleasant for it's size/price. Many cheap subs are "one note", this is a bit more diverse with punchy midbass and somewhat low response. Now for the surprise, move about 5' away from the speakers, and the sound blends together! The speakers go from 4 star to 5 star #for the price#. This would be great if you were watching a movie and sitting back from the monitor; unfortunately, that won't be the case for me.
What's great about it: good overall sound, great little sub
What's not so great: bright tweeters
I would recommend this to a friend!
