First a small speaker burned out and it cost me $40 to replace.
Next the Subwoofer burned out.
What's great about it: nothing great

Either I got a bum pair or all the positive reviewers don't mind bad sound quality. Poorly built, cheap materials, muddy and loose bass, TERRIBLE, screeching highs (like an $8 clock radio--literally) OK midrange. Very disappointed in these. I didn't expect booming, clear bass but tweeters that are harsh and sound worse than a cheap iHome Ipod/IPhone speaker was too much for me! I hate to see people waste good money on bad products and I am really surprised that Klipsch even sells this setup.
What's great about it: Compact and easy to set up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my $40 Creative Sound Blaster 2.1 Speaker system for about 10 years and just recently had problems with it.
I purchased this and it's been a huge headache. At this price, I was expecting Way better sound quality than my old system. The bass is nicer and louder, but that's it. My Small Creative Speakers seem louder and a lot crispier than the Klipsch Satellite speakers.
I plan on returning these and getting a different Creative System (Mine was discontinued) .
What's great about it: Nice Bass, That's It
What's not so great: Sound Overall isn't Crisp.. Needs Treble
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After only these speakers for 9 months they have stopped working.
What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Only lasted 9 months.

I tried 4 differnt 2.1 speaker system side by side listening the same song to compare sound quality logitech x-230 beat all other 3 including Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speaker System. this speaker system doesn't worth the price. I will not pay more than $50. for this speaker system.

So my buddy talked me into buying these speakers since they did carry the Logitech that i wanted. So got home and was hooking them up and the pins to hook up into the sub-woofer and there where no holes for the pins to go into so took them back and order the Logitech from amazon

I bought these speakers then took them back to try the Bose 2.1. Big mistake. The Kilsch speakers were much better. The speakers brought a small room to life and has a lot of power. Great Speakers (Klipsch) for the money!!
What's great about it: Great Sound for the Price
What's not so great: Bulky
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted some speakers to use for my computer, my LCD TV, and my ipod. I read the good reviews and at over $100 less than the bose, I decided to go for it. I have my TV and a spare stereo wire connected to the aux input via a y-adapter.
They get insanely loud for their size, and they still sound perfect at the high volumes. Great lows and mids...almost drowns out the highs, but you can adjust the bass with the knob. Sounds about right with the subwoofer near the minimum adjustment.
Everything looks very high quality. No cheap, light plastic stuff here.
Cons:
The power switch is on the back of the subwoofer. Therefore, I have to unplug the thing or crawl under my desk to turn them off. The back of the subwoofer stays really warm even when off, so I would like to turn it off.
I had to drive 40 miles to a BB that had them in stock...
What's great about it: Awesome Sound, High quality speakers
What's not so great: Power switch on back of subwoofer
I would recommend this to a friend!
