I don' generally write teviews, but this product blew me away!! Well worth the money in my opinion,
What's great about it: Crystal clear highs, deep booming lows, no distortion at all. Best computer speaker system I have ever heard!
What's not so great: Flawless
I would recommend this to a friend!

i had the bose companion 3 series, returned them the same day, got these klipsch and i am very happy.
loud.

I just bought thist earlier today. These are the best computer speakers I have ever owned. Loud with great bass. Very crisp. Definately recommend to everybody.

Overall, a great system.

In short, this is an overall great system. I promised my girlfriend a new set of speakers since we're doing some upgrades to our computer. I was comparing Logitech's Z4 and Altec Lansing's MX6021 to the Promedia. I wasn't impressed with the fake 3 drivers per speaker set-up of the Z-4's (really only one per stack), and since the nearest store with the Altec's was over 100 miles away, I never got to listen to them. Plus, too many reviews talked of constant static and hissing in that system. I am an admitted audiophile, so sound is very important to me, and Klipsch delivered.
Set-up was easy, though the power switch behind the sub is questionable, but I knew this already from my research. The size of the sub is great and the footprint is okay...I'm thinking of wall-mounting the sats. Make sure you have room for wires, 'cause there are plenty of them in length. And use the rubber feet included, else wise they will slide all over the place on the metal stands.
Now, about the sound: GREAT!!! Mind you, we were running on an old pair of 2 watts that were starting to go out, so of course the Promedia was a huge step up for the computer, but still they sound fantastic. The highs are a bit bright, but they do need to be broken in. The mids come through great, and the bass really hits; unless you really like a lot of bass, don't go past the little white mark...mine are shaking the room and windows at 9 o'clock volume. We've got ours equidistant from the screen and lined up with it, so the sound fields are on point with the monitor. We've run some of every audio we can through these, from jazz to R&B to soundtracks and classical music (listening to "Sweet Dreams in Purgatory" now).
The only real issue I can find is that the Promedia doesn't have a treble control, only bass and volume. Granted the control pod looks kinda cheap, but that would've been a nice control to have.
All in all, this system is money well spent.
What's great about it: Great sound, easy set-up, small footprint.
What's not so great: Stark looks, power switch behind sub, no treble/mid controls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Haven't had a problem. Keep the bass level at a reasonable level and it will sound great.

Was searching around for speakers after my Bose Companion 3 finally died. Read the customer reviews for this system and decided this would be the one...especially after the demo @ the store. Got it home yesterday...hooked it up...played a song that i know has alot of BASS...and really got blown away. Amazing that this system isn't priced like a comparable BOSE system. You really get more than what you pay for. This system is way better than my old BOSE. Highs & Mids are clear...w/ heart-pounding BASS...what more can u ask for? Although i wish it had an ON/OFF button, that's a little sacrifice for what u get.
What's great about it: Everything...especially the BASS
What's not so great: NOTHING!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

These speakers are the best computer speakers i've had so far. I haven't tried the Bose computer speakers, but I think either way, the Klipsch speakers are the same in technology if not better AND price doesn't completely break the bank for the quality these speakers give. These speakers are also good for someone looking for a baby home theater system without the dvd player or reciever
What's great about it: Sound and good powered subwoofer
What's not so great: Nothing except price for some i guess
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been watching these speakers ever since they first came out. Couldn't afford them at that time. I was shocked when I saw them re-released at Best Buy. I had made enough money from side jobs to finally purchase them. Sound better than I imagined - great bass.
What's great about it: Best speakers I've ever heard.
What's not so great: Expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!
