They were more costly than other speakers available but these things are worth the price. They have tremendous sound and great deep bass. Great for listening to movies or music off your PC.
What's great about it: Volume, Sound Quality
What's not so great: A little expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

I read many reviews before buying these speakers. I was very pleasantly surprised at what i found. These speakers sound awesome. They are beautiful to look at and they are well built. Some reviewers complained about distortion and rumble in the bass and I did find this to be true, BUT after careful listening, I found that WHAT you play through these speakers makes all the difference. MOST things played through these speakers sound amazingly clear. YOU CAN HEAR AND FEEL THE LOW END RUMBLE OF THE BASS AND EXPPLOSIONS !!
Don't think twice. BUY these speakers. YOU WON'T BE SORRY!
What's great about it: Plenty of volume without distortion
What's not so great: Speakers stay on all the time. No on/off switch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This system is incredible, the sound is loud and clear, the bass is deep and powerful. I bought this system completely blind and only bought this because of the name, very happy with my purchase. I was going to spend 400 on the Bose because I wanted that sound, but I have a Bose home theater ...so what I did was , I bought apple tv, connected that to my iMac and bought the klipsch speakers now I have good speakers on my Mac and I can also play the music on my Bose for party days.
What's great about it: Great price, hi-def sound
What's not so great: Bass distorts when played really loud
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently bought the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speaker system, and all I can say is WOW! These are, without a doubt, the best sounding speakers I have ever heard. I have owned 2 sets of the Logitech Z623 speakers and had problems with both sets, so I decided to try these out. The sound that these monsters produce is just outstanding. The bass is very precise and NOT boomy, the mids are great, and the highs are crisp and clean, even at loud volumes. Yes, they are a bit on the pricy side if you cannot find them on sale, but they are worth EVERY penny! So, if you are wanting to upgrade to a great 2.1 system, look no further. I will definitely buy from Klipsch in the future!
What's great about it: Everything. Setup was a breeze.
What's not so great: Nothing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

THese speakers are amazing. Ive seen many reviews which don't like these guys much, but I loved them.
The sound quality is amazing, just like a good home theatre. The only thing is you have to know how to place them and use an equalizer.
THe sub is really good, so you actually have to be a few feet away where the sound waves meet and produce the deep bass. Most people stay near to the sub and complain about it.
It gets pretty loud for jus 1/4th the volume knob . They will sound TRASHY IF you CLOSE TO THE SUB .
the sound is jus phenomenal . I really love the quality . Clean bass and good treble and mids . Doesn't miss any note.
good stuff.
What's great about it: Audio Quality , Great Sub with well balanced treble
What's not so great: Looks could be better. The speakers look good enough though .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 vs Logitech z623

I recently bought the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system because I already had the Logitech z623 for my television in the family room. The differences in both of them are pretty clear. The Logitech sounds more mid ranged which is also why the bass probably sounds a lot more. While the Klipsch in my opinion were better, it was because they hit all three of the sound spectrum highs, mids, and lows. Still at the same time it had strong bass comparable to the Logitech z623. Overall they both are really good computer speaker systems but if I were you I would choose the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 System for overall better sound signature.
BTW... If you do get the Klipsch Promedias and you notice the back plate getting pretty hot, I am pretty sure your still fine just do not blast your speakers on full volume for hours on end.
What's great about it: Highs, Mids, and Lows
What's not so great: It tends to get hot on the backplate
I would recommend this to a friend!

I honesty thought the first time I heard these speakers with my music was with one word, AWESOME. I've had these for a month now and from what I've heard was nothing but crisp clear THX Certified sound that can be compared to BOSE Companions. Honestly if you want a speaker system that compare get these.
What's great about it: Bass and Sound
What's not so great: No power button
I would recommend this to a friend!
