Nothing negative to say, they are by far the best set I've ever had for my computer, they can literally rumble my entire house. I originally bought the more expensive Bose set that had a bigger sub (~$350 forget the exact model) and was not satisfied with the quality for the price and immediately bought the Klipsch set after reading reviews, not only does it outperform the Bose but it's $200 cheaper. I have not been disappointed they have incredible sound and at an affordable price.

Excellent speakers for the price

I bought these speakers based purely on reviews and ratings. The high ratings and excellent reviews were consistent. I want clear, fantastic sound when I listen to my music and when I watch movies or TV shows on my computer, and that is what these deliver. I don't have to turn up the subwoofer or the main volume very high, that's how sensitive this system is. I experimentally turned the sound up all the way to see what would happen, and there was no distortion or rattling or any other type of disturbance to the sound quality. They have lived up to the hype. I love these speakers!

NOTE: A co-worker who works in our IT dept told me that I got a good deal but not the best deal for the price. He also said that the heavier the speakers and the subwoofer, the better, and there is definite weight to this system. One more comment he made was that these are a little more professional grade than one really needs for computer speakers. Given all this, I believe I got an EXCELLENT DEAL. Not too cheap and not too expensive. I have only been using them for two months, but the quality is evident and I use them daily. If you want better than average speakers for your computer without spending a fortune, get these. They are worth every penny.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, great price, they look good and sound fantastic

What's not so great: Nothing at all

Great speakers wish I found them earlier

I've had these speakers for a few months and I got to say they sound very great. They also go very loud and sound very crisp and especially when watching action/horror movies they sound as if it were life like. The only thing I wish it had was a remote control to turn it off/on and adjust the volume. Other than that if you want great sound for movies and are looking for a lot of power I would recommend these.

What's great about it: The look stylish,THX certified

What's not so great: A lil bulky, wish it had a remote control

Phenomenal Speakers

Okay, cons first. When I decided on these speakers while researching online, I thought they were much smaller than they are. When I went to check them out at Best Buy, they were much larger and heavier than I expected. Each speaker is 8.5" tall. That said, I still bought them and am very glad I did.

These speakers really have phenomenal sound. I bought them because I already owned a pair of Klipsch Image S4 headphones, and have always loved the sound of those. I consider myself a mid-level audiophile, and my musical tastes are based much more on audio quality than musical style. To test these speakers, I listened to each song on this list (among others), and found every song to be crystal clear: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/09/24/audio-engineer-lists-top-10-songs-to-test-a-car-stereo/

Great sound for a fair price

These speakers were purchased to replace my well used Altec Lansing ADA-885 speaker system that suffered from a failed subwoofer amplifier.The Pro Media 2.1 offers a rather well balanced audio spectrum at a fair price.I especially enjoy the fact that the satellite speakers contain an actual tweeter as opposed to many multimedia systems that offer small paper cone drivers to deliver the midrange and high frequencies.The aux input is a very handy feature that functions nicely with the headphone output from a TV creating a nice sounding small AV system in collaboration with a laptop on the main input.The sound quality from FLAC files on the laptop is comparable with larger full range stereo speakers that I have owned in the past.Since the crossover point is rather high,subwoofer placement can be critical in order to get a well balanced sound between the sub and satellites.Place the sub in the center of the satellites at an equal distance to avoid the lower frequencies sounding like they are only on the left or right channel.I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking to assemble a small yet powerful 2.1 audio system.

What's great about it: Well balanced sound,aux input is a handy feature.

What's not so great: No power switch

It's a long way from Hope, Arkansas to China...

Now a subsidiary of a huge electronics holding company, this is not the birch plywood, built in Hope, Arkansas by Paul W. Klipsch product I grew up with, although I think some of those speakers still exist. Made in China, this is a well designed system executed on the cheap. MDF subwoofer cabinet with vinyl wrap and plastic housings on the satellite speakers do nothing for the sound quality and would have Paul rolling over in his grave, but given the lowly computer-use mission, I have to say I was pleased enough. They arrived well packed for round-the-world shipping and look reasonably well assembled. Bass extension on the 6.5 inch ported subwoofer is good--so much that I turned the woofer down from its recommended starting setting. Stereo imaging is weak from the satellite speakers, however. which don't sound all that great on their own--but no worse than expected. Unfortunately, after about 20 minutes of normal play at low and moderate volumes, the amplifier started cutting out...first a couple of times over a few minutes, then the left channel went out, and finally, the right channel died. Through process of elimination, we determined that the computer's sound card is fine, and the connecting cable from computer to subwoofer is fine, since headphones could still be used through the jack that is built in to the satellites, leaving something internal in the subwoofer to blame. I am taking this product back to the store, but with fingers crossed I will try another set because I think this is about as good as it gets for a THX 2.1 system. I will re-post a new review on the replacement set very soon.
