overall a good set of speakers for the price, this is my second set of these and the first set lasted 3yrs without issue and i am fairly hard on speakers due to my hearing. The first set still works and is now 4yrs old... a slight crackle if turned too loud. Only drawback to these speakers is no on/off switch, but i put them on a toggled surge protecter under my monitor to solve this.

I bought the 2-year replacement plan with the money saved ($30.00) when it is on sale... you can save even more with an "open box" item... The cost is high but it worth it.

It's a Klipsh. That should be enough said for anyone. I have been familiar with Klipsch speakers since the 1950s. Their response has always been superb throughout the audible range. No speaker is distortion free, but this comes close. This is the second speaker in this line I have owned. I cannot run the volume up all the way, because the bass rattles the dishes and windows.

If one likes pipe organs, basso profundo opera singers, or any double bass instrument, Klipsh has always been my first choice for a true reproduction of the original sound. This speaker system is not a Klipschorn by any means, but is a great little brother to it.
