I bought the Bose companion 2 and was very underwhelmed. I took them back after one day. I am blown away with these speakers for the slight price difference. I was looking at possibly getting studio monitors for my music, but for the price these are amazing for that need. They work well even with my bass guitar. The final selling point when I was exchanging them, is the salesman in computers saw me pick these up and said great choice, then another walked up to the counter when I was paying the difference and let me know he had these, and loved them. A++

Almost Perfect

The only thing I could take issue with on these speakers is that there isn't an on/off switch. You have to unplug the speakers when not in use, otherwise, they'll continue to draw power.

Other than that, these babies are sweet. Super crisp highs and deep and powerful base outta the sub. If you were debating between these and Bose, you get more bang for your buck with the Klipsch.

I've had three pairs of these Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 systems. This isn't because they kept breaking, I just love them THAT MUCH. Superb quality.

My one complaint is the proprietary plus for the right change speaker. This speaker acts as the control pod. I really wish these 2.1 systems from EVERY manufacturer didn't have tiny pin configurations for a plug or something you can't find ANYWHERE.

Otherwise, pass on the logitech and bose. Klipsch is where it's at.

...because these M-Fers are POWERFUL. I literally have to keep the bass on the lowest possible setting because they BOOM the room and I'm sure it annoys the neighbors.

With that said -

These speakers are FANTASTIC. The sound, not just the bass, is absolutely top-notch. Blew me away. Worth every penny.
