I was looking for a reasonably priced audio system for my living room to play movie audio and music while hosting guests in my house and for my own pleasure. You can certainly go with 2.0 systems but you better have an amplifier for them. This 2.1 system works well - it has deep bass and sounds well in the whole frequency range. It is also well made and leaves an impression of a good quality product that will last.

This computer speaker set is incredible!! I'm a musician, so I'm very critical about sound, and this set has all the goods! It has two bookshelf speakers that are the clearest I've heard in computer speakers; then it has room filing bass to match. I've never been more happier than I am with this system
