Great sounding speakers! however, ive noticed some of the material isnt as durable as it should be and that the back of the subwoofer gets extremely hot. You have to keep a fan on it at all times.
What's great about it: it produces great sound for any sort of listening
What's not so great: some parts are made of cheap plastic and break easily and you have to have a fan on it at all times
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very punchy sound. Separately adjustable bass level. Great all 'round use.
No ON/OFF switch is an absolutely ridiculous thing to leave out in a product designed to be used with a computer. What were they thinking??
Also, it seems like this product may be on its way to retirement despite its great reviews. Haven't seen a good replacement from Klipsch. I have heard the wireless version suffers from drop out problems....
What's great about it: Sound and power
What's not so great: No ON/OFF switch; this model seems to be going away
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speaker system for almost 5 years, and let me tell you... there isn't any other speaker system I would get for my computer desk. The music sounds bliss, the bass is heavy, powerful, strong... heck, strong enough to get my neighbor's to complain.
If you do purchase this sound system, however, I *highly recommend* that you purchase it along with Best Buy's GSP plan. This sound system uses a good amount of power for the subwoofer, and there has been times with power outages and such where the fuses inside the subwoofer go out. It terrified me at first but luckily I went to BBY and was happily able to get it replaced on the spot with a new one. I have been using a surge protector to power it ever since.

What's great about it: High quality sound, powerful subwoofer, theater quality
What's not so great: The subwoofer sometimes gets the cops to show up for noise complaints...

If you are looking for speakers and don't purchase these you'll just be setting yourself up for disappointment with anything else. I bought these speakers almost a full year ago right on the spot not even looking for speakers. I just walked over and fooled around with a couple and was blown away. I'm glad I did because I wanted a set of speakers so I wasn't always using my monitors to play music. These honestly sound better than my M-Audio BX5a monitors. The sound is loud, crisp, and clear. The bass is out of this world. Priced great. You can't go wrong with these at all.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased these speakers after returning cheaper Creative Bluetooth speakers. I wanted the wireless solution, but was VERY surprised by the quality that came in this product. There is plenty of wire available for speaker configurations. I cranked these up to the loudest setting and they held on without distorting. The subwoofer packs plenty of punch. Do yourself a favor and stop looking at other purchase decisions and buy the Klipsch speakers. There is a reason that George Lucas branded them with his "THX" badging.

The sound you get with these speakers is amazing. You don't have to turn up the volume, or the bass, that far to get high quality sound. The sub delivers great bass and the speakers don't sound muffled at all at higher volumes. Having the separate volume and bass controls is nice as well.
I use these with my computer and with my t.v. For the t.v. use, it would be nice if there was some sort of wireless/remote way to turn the speaker volume up/down so when I am watching a movie, I don't have to get up and adjust the volume.
There are only two downsides I have found. One is that there is no "Power off" button anywhere so I have to unplug them when I don't want them turned on. The second is that there is no WiFi/bluetooth ability to allow me to stream music from my phone without having to plug my phone into the speakers.

I was familiar with Klipsch since I installed my tv surround sound system using their speakers a number of years ago. These computer speakers are fantastic. The satellItes are clear and the subwoofer has a thumping bass. You can crank the volume up and they don't miss a beat. I gave a video presentation and I hooked these speakers up to my blu-ray player and a large room with 200 people had no trouble hearing the sound and I only had the volume halfway. These speakers are really a steal for the price. I would recommend these to anyone.
