A purely supurb speaker system.

I purchased these after giving countless demonstrations and these are the best all around computer speakers I have heard. As a Saleperson at Best Buy that should say something. The sound quality outperforms the Bose Companion 2 ($100) and the Bose Companion 20 ($250) hands down! The Klipsch also boasts 200 Watts total system power AND holds the THX Certification which the Bose does not. THX Certification is meant to ensure that the sound produced by an audio system is heard in EXACTLY the manner that the audio engineer intended, thus making the standard an important feature. Low Frequecy sound produced by Subwoofers accounts for 30% of the sound we hear and while Bose mimics some of the lows well, it's no match for the Sub included with this speaker system.
Many computer speakers can be comfortably turned all the way up, but at half volume with my doors and windows closed I can hear this system at my mailbox. Turn it all the way up if you wish but I would rather my ears not bleed!
This is by far my favorite purchase from Best Buy to date and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone wanting to hear their music the way it was intended!

The system is great for the money. Originally wanted Bose or Bowers and Wilkins. Klipsch turned out to be the best choice for price, sound and size. The sub woofer will surprise you when you set it up. Not even halfway up and it feels like I shake the house. The speakers are clear, great size and controls are easy to use. No complaints so far and Best Buy always has great products.
What's great about it: Easy set up, competitive price, clear sound, bass
What's not so great: nothing so far. maybe some complaints from neighbors for the bass..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Outstanding quality of audio. Audiophiles will not be disappointed. This unit has great clarity at any volume level. If there is any distortion it will most likly be that you have a radio hooked up to it, and the reception not that great. When I was looking around I saw other systems that were half the price, but can't compete. The other unit I looked at was a Bose. At best the Bose has the same audio quality, but Bose is it's overpriced...
What's great about it: On top of the audio, it is very simple to use.
What's not so great: No on and off switch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just received these speakers - set up and listening to Pandora at work in less than 10 minutes. These speakers are awesome. I have a pair of Bose companions on my desktop at my home office and they suck compared to these. I was worried that the sub would be too large , but its not - its just the right size - with plenty of bass. It must be the side firing that does it but the bass is just right. I turned down the Wave volume to 70% as directied in the instructions and have the sub set at aroun 70% volume and it sounds great. I listen to all genres of music but have a soft spot for early 90's seattle / grunge - Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, that kind of music . The mids and highs are clear as a bell - I guess thats what the THX hoopla is all about. These speakers , for the money are the shiznit. I am a new Klipsch fan - have been big JBL and Bose fan , but things change. If you are looking to get a pair of good quality, loud, computer speakers - you will NOT be disappointed with these.
What's great about it: Mids , hi's lows - clear as a bell
What's not so great: i guess the bass is a little muddy - whatever that means
I would recommend this to a friend!

I came to this site a couple hours ago to scope out a new set of PC speakers. This brand was completely off my radar as I was comparing Creative and Logitech for sound quality within my budget. Thirty minutes go by and I'm at the Best Buy store sound testing both brands. I was leaning toward the Logitech 5.1 system, but I wasn't happy with the quality of sound when reaching higher levels. I then decided to turn the Klipsch set on to compare the Logitech to a brand I never heard of. As soon as they turned on I was blown away by rich bass and crisp sound quality, and it was merely at the mid-low range for volume. I turned these puppies up to mid-high, and the quality was just as smooth if not better. Needless to say, I'm at home enjoying the phenomenal sound quality as I write this review, and I never write reviews. I'm in love with the power of this little unit, and what a deal for $140. I highly recommend this product!
What's great about it: Best PC speakers I've owned
What's not so great: No remote
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great audio for a great price

I normally do not write reviews, but I was so blown away by these speakers (no pun intended) that I felt obligated to. Whether you're listening to rock, pop, heavy metal, country, or dubstep, it all sounds great. The volume for my sub and the speakers are both about 1/4 of the way up, and it's loud. Klipsch is top of the line audio, and it shows in these speakers.
For those who are frustrated with the durability of the speakers: Get Geek Squad Protection on these things! It's only $15 and it covers anything but accidental damage; speaker bow-outs are the most common issue, and that is covered.
If you have any hesitation on getting these, don't. I would personally pay way more money for these and it is a steal for $155. You will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Sound clarity and power of the bass
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am so happy. Klipsch only makes quality stuff. I have a home in Florida and we have Klipsch throughout the house and having experianced the quality before, I couldn't pass on another product from them. Totally worth the price. Plug and play is always a great thing.

Just picked this computer speaker system up from my local Best Buy. Brought it home, hooked it up, opened iTunes, selected a song and my ears said, "Huh"? It sounds amazing! I chose Klipsch because of the quality and their reputation. They did not disappoint as usual. Sure you can spend less on a computer speaker system, but for the money this system is well worth it.
What's great about it: Awesome sound especially low end
What's not so great: Only available in black
I would recommend this to a friend!
