Huge step up

I've been eyeing these speakers for a long time before purchasing and when I found out these went on sale I jumped for it. The desk speakers are bigger than Logitech offerings, but the clarity and boom makes you look past that. The aux port is picky about what cable is used though so try a few different ones to avoid the noticeably loud background noise.

I have my eyes on these speakers from some time and they came on sale at Best Buy. I immediately jumped on it. They are one of the best 2.1 speakers I have used. Put two satellite speaker at decent distance and you get best possible sound stage. Woofer is terrific and does not crumble at high volume. Being THX certified, it reproduces all frequency quite well. Overall, one of the best 2.1 speakers you can buy and totally worth the money.

...and I love these speakers even more! Klipsch and Bose both boast high end sound quality, but the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker system outscreams Bose with their micro Tractrix speaker horns. These small, but powerful speakers will blow you away when turned up while listening to music, watching movies, or playing games. The horns provide insane clarity during metal power ballads, and the subwoofer produces clean low end bass to feed your dubstep addiction.

I don't mess around with sound, and at a sweet price point of $150, this set up is by far the best bang for your buck.
