This item lasted less than 6 months. Contacted Best Buy in OKC where I bought it and was not able to have it replaced. Item is now sitting in the attic wishing it could be doing something a lot more like “working”! Had to purchase another sound system similar to this one and also bought a 4 year warranty plan with it. $139.00 - down the drain and not able to get it back, thanks Best Buy. Besides that, I still use and will continue to buy my electronics from Best Buy.

I took a chance and bought these for my macbook pro and they whoop my logitechs any day they have great bass response and perfect med and highs the sub maxxes out but only on really hard bass hits. I love loud music but theres no way i can turn this all the way up its wayy too loud.
What's great about it: Sound is perfect
What's not so great: sub maxxes out for really hard bass hits, no power switch
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My old soundsticks' subwoofer blew after 4 years, so I decided an upgrade was in order. I got these speakers and was estatic at the sound and build quality. Then I played a movie on the 3rd day and the right speaker blew. I smelled ozone around the speaker and subwoofer, so something must have shorted out. This is very disappointing for such a promising product.
What's great about it: Sounds terrific, the price can't be beat.
What's not so great: not durable, shorted out 2 days after I got it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Less than satisfactory product compared to same product 2 years ago.
Do not waste your money on this substandard, re-engineered to cheapen the product, media speakers. The older product was great and then they had to ruin the name of Klipsch by this P.O.S. Never again

bought these after I saw they went on sale for 119. They are running off of a macbook pro and I'm amazed at the clarity of the satellites, mids and highs are clear even at higher volumes. the sub provides ample low end thump. Definitely worth the price, there's good quality to be heard here!

What's not so great: none at the moment

These speakers have so much punch that they over power my 1000 watt home theather system. You can not buy a better system with out paying over $800.

Let me put it plain and simple. I researched these online and saw the customer ratings and new they were good. So I went to the store, picked them up and as I am walking to the register, a best buy employee walked up to me and said, "Great Pick. We stopped selling them and people started to complain, so we brought them back" Enough said. BUY THEM. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

What's not so great: To say anything, would be a lie

I bought these speakers for my laptop computer over 4 years ago at Best Buy. I didn't want to buy them at first because I thought that spending $150 on computer speakers was way too much. To this day I do not regret my decision. I use them almost everyday and they still sound like they are brand new! My college roomates love having the speakers hooked up and play them as well. I have used them in watching movies, with the aux in port, and it does a fantasic job at hitting the low ground trembling bass. The adjustable bass knob is a nice plus because sometimes the bass does overpower the sound coming out of the system. I wouldn't compare them to the similar Bose system, but you do save yourself some major $$$. The clarity does drop in the speakers after a certain point unlike the comparible Bose setup but I never need to play the music that loud. Believe me it is loud enough and will fill any room with ease.
What's great about it: awesome sound for a fair price
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
