Good Sound but...

I finally decided on these speakers after deciding I wanted a decent 2.1 system to hook up to my new Mac laptop. The speakers sound great and the little 6.5" sub actually puts out some decent bass. My only complaint would be the lack of a power on/off switch which I felt was quite odd. You just have to plug these guys into a surge protector and use that for your switch. There are not many choices for decent computer speakers, it was basically between these Klipsch 2.1 setup for $150 and the BOSE companion 3 (Bose's 2.1 setup) for $250. The Bose may look sexier but not worth the extra $100. If you've got the money I would step up to the Bose Companion 5.1 setup.
What's great about it: Sound Quality
What's not so great: No power switch

I listened to this setup in the store and was impressed. The model I heard was the floor model and they were out of stock so I had to go to another store. On the way to the other store I got online and saw that they were on sale on BB.com. So I bought them for the sale price and picked them up at the store. It was definately a good buy. The sound is much better when you get them home in an average size room.
What's great about it: Sound Quality
What's not so great: Speaker stands

I picked these up a few days ago, and let me tell you, they do not disappoint. These are replacing a dell computer 2.1 system (sounds bad, but they were amazing for 4 years). The ranges are all very clean, through the sub and speakers. Very low bass range, AMAZING mids, very solid highs. All computer enthusiasts should invest in these.
What's great about it: Pure sound quality, full bass range, loud as all get out.
What's not so great: The faceplates are detachable but the plastic shell is pretty chinsy looking, not a big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WOW!!!! I consider myself to be somewhat of a sound snob or audiophile,...... I am very impressed with this product. I received $55 in rewards zone cash and decided to put it towards some computer speakers. The first set I purchased was the Bose Companion 2 Series II ($99). I was not happy with the range capability with the Bose. I decided to spend the extra $50 on this set and WOW what a difference!!!!! Well worth the price difference. No matter the style of music or media you are in to, these speakers respond very effectively. I STRONGLY recommend this product.
What's great about it: Range of Sound, overall sound quality
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this speaker system for a portable outdoor theater set-up. I connect them directly to the blu-ray player and they produce an amazing sound; good highs, mids, and excellent bass. I am very pleased with this product.
What's great about it: good portability, great sound, good price (especially when compared to speaker systems of "like" quality, price, etc...)
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

VERY impressed with the sound of these babies out of the box. I was blown away with the quality! Best 2.1 speakers I've owned by far.
What's great about it: Sound clarity, subwoofer punch and appearence.
What's not so great: None that I see.

Try listening to Van Halen's "Eruption" on these babies! WOW-WOW AND MORE WOW! Definitely worth the money.

I bought these after returning the Insignia 2.1 computer speakers. These sound GREAT!!! The sub thumps when you need it to, and the satellites sound great as well!! I Would RECOMMEND this product to anyone who listens to a lot of music on their computer like I do.
