Very good speakers for the price. I bought them for my laptop and to hook them up to my keyboard (instead of studio monitors) - Sounds amazing - good bass. Right now I have the connected to my TV for surround-like sound. Eventually I will buy a good TV sound system and will go back to using these for my laptop & keyboard. Sounds great with everything.
What's great about it: For the price: Amazing speakers

My Altec Lansing computer speakers stopped working. Since I'm a musician and was planning to do some home recording, I needed a set of speakers that were clear and didn't color the sound that was recorded. I am also on a limited budget and couldn't afford a $500 speaker system. Checking around locally (discount retailers) I didn't find what I wanted; nothing came anywhere close. I decided to go into Best Buy and give their offerings a listen. Apparently the tech that hooked up their display messed up something because only one channel of all their systems worked. At first I was not impressed; the sound wasn't that good for the money. After thinking it over however; I decided to take the system home and give it a try. After all, I could take it back. Boy! I'm glad I took it home to try it. HUGE difference! Clean and clear with a frequency response that is almost flat, and power!! I have the computer volume down to 30% and the speaker volume is set at about 9 o'clock (25%) and it is a comfortable level for me. I recommend that you take home a set of these and give them a listen; they are well worth the money!

I have had the Promedias for over a year now and they perform as well as they did when they were first puilled out of the box. The model I have is the wireless one and it performs flawlessly at distances of up to 30 feet from the setup.
If you are looking for a pair of speakers that can deliver excellent sound at volume levels at are just flat out very loud then these will satisfy your needs.
I have read a review from a parent who bought his sons these units for college use and was somewhat depressed because both pairs of speakers blew out within a few weeks of each other. Well, come on now!!!!! I have a son in college and I know what kind of abuse college students can dish out to their audio equipment. I'll bet you my Klipschorns that the bass was at 100% on the speaker control module and more than likely at max on their computer, and I bet that the volume level was at max too!!! These are terriffic speakers but they are not designed to provide disco level sound. When used properly, they will last for years. Don't blame the product when it fails from being grossly abused!
What's great about it: Bang for the buck!!!!
What's not so great: Nothing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this set of Klipsch speakers to use with my iMac. I was not disappointed at all! These are BY FAR the best sounding speakers I've ever owned. I have friends with Bose speakers and they sound good, but in my opinion Klipsch has them beat. I do like Bose speakers, but I feel like they often have a little bit too much of a "tinty" high-end sound in comparison to Klipsch. These have such a rich and full sound! Everyone that comes near my computer and hears them is extremely impressed.
I actually like these speakers so much that I will be replacing all of my home theater speakers with Klipsch ASAP. Honestly, it would be pretty hard to convince me to buy anything other than Klipsch now!
What's great about it: The sound quality is nothing less than perfect
What's not so great: Nothing so far
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a TV that has absolutely hysterically horrible sound, but luckily it does have a headphone jack. I hooked these speakers up to the TV and was really blown away by the amount of bass that tiny little subwoofer can put out. Granted, I wasn't looking for huge earth-shaking surround sound, but this little set definitely competes with any 2.1 TV add-on speakers / sound bars I've listened to for way less than half the cost. For those of you who might not have a headphone jack or only have a digital out (Digital co-ax, hdmi, or toslink/optical), purchase an inexpensive Digital to Analog converter for your application, usually around $30 or less, and save the expense of buying an audio reciever, and save a lot of space too! Of course if Klipsch ever added a digital connection to these speakers, whoa!!! These compact speakers and tiny subwoofer are super easy to accomodate, no matter how tight the space.
I'm definitely very pleased with this purchase.
What's great about it: Stellar sound, small compact footprint.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had these speakers for about 5 yrs. I honestly believe these could be used for a home entertainment system, they are that good, strong solid bass, the woofer is very heavy, best PC speakers, including a lot of bookshelf speakers, I have ever heard. You will have to look real hard to find a better set of speakers. Built very solid, not like most other plastic lite weights.You WILL be satisfied.

My wife has been bugging me for months to get new computer speakers since the JBL 4.1 system we have had for 8 years broke from our kids picking up and dropping and banging on them. The amount of sound that comes out of these is unbelievable. The sub control is a must, I have it set to not even 1/4 and it pounds, the highs and mids are very crisp and clear. I am a huge car stereo person so It makes me picky, but there is no picking about these speakers. I will say these are we better than the Bose companion 3 which my friend has. This is definitely a win win system.

Was great... While it lasted.

Plain and simple, these speakers sound great. They hit fairly hard at low frequencies. The only problem I had with these is about after 6 months, one of the speakers blew. Mind you I had my volume on my PC at around 60 and the speaker's volume control was roughly the same, never maxed out. I was quite disappointed by the durability of the product given the Klipsch name tag.
What's great about it: Sounds amazing with great bass.
What's not so great: Durability, or lack there-of
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
