Good sound - bought as a replacement

I purchased this as a replacement... my previous unit failed. I had it for about 8 years, so I guess it was time for a new one. The fact that I'm purchasing again I think says it all... great sound quality at a reasonable price. Just wish they sold individual units are replacements, but then again, it is probably more cost efficient to just buy all three parts.

These speakers came highly recommended both online and in the store. Great sound for the price and the space. Fills a fairly large office area quite nicely. Adjustments are necessary depending on the source, but that is something we are all used to at this point.

For the price you cannot beat this system. Why pay twce as much for something like BOSE when the quality of this unit is, in my opinion, superb. The quality throughout the whole sound spectrum is flawless, The highs are crisp and the lows are solid. To get a better setup would mean going to a complete home theater system. The Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 gets my highest recommendation in its class.

It's like having a home theater system at your desk. These things will blow you away. Go into Best Buy and hear them for yourself.

I replaced a set of Altec Lansing speakers with this set, and boy was I blown away by the sound of this 2.1 systen, wow! - I totally enjoy listening to my MP3s where the speakers splendidly show the difference between 128 kBit/sec and 320 kBit/sec sampled MP3s. Also enjoy watching movies via NetFlix with these speakers.
Only thing I found disturbing that these speakers do not come with a On/Off switch, and that the green power lights stays on always. I am not sure if the speakers actually go into standby when not in use for a certain number of minutes. The manual does not mention anything.
Hoping the speakers are not drawing power when in use I can absolutely and very highly recommend this 2.1 set. You won't be disappointed!
