This is the best computer speakers i have ever had and it is my third set. I was not surprised at all of the quality, after all it's a klipsch system. The sub can hit way lower than many current top end computer speakers.........oh and yeah, it's very loud, you won't be disappointed. It shakes my entire room and echos into the living room still carrying those low notes. Music you can hear and feel. My advice to anyone is to ensure you follow the instructions as to where to place the sub-woofer, remember the rear and side with the woofer must face a wall to get that rebound and better sound quality. AMAZING product Klipsch!!!Highly recommend this!!!!!!!!

This 2.1 system was extremely easy to set up. It provides better sound quality than 99% of PC users will ever need- but at the price it is a no-brainer for anyone looking to upgrade from the tinny speakers that come bundled wit most PCs. My only caveat is that the bass can be a bit overpowering if the subwoofer level is set as Klipsch recommends; I dialed it back a bit and all was well from a sonic fidelity standpoint.

Loud speakers

The Klipsch speakers are really easy to setup. I connected them to my phone to listen to music and they sound great. Controls are simple with one knob for bass and another for main volume. I also connected them to my xbox 360 using the turtle beach surround sound device (not included) and was able to play games with kick. Would have been better if optical or rca input was available also.

What's not so great: bulky if you want portable, only has headphone connection and no rca or optical input.

Excellent sound versus the Bose C2

I had to come on here to write this review because I was about 99% ready to purchase the $100 Bose Companion 2 speakers. I headed over to BB with a little doubt as I knew BB would have the speakers lined up for me to test out. I went down the line thinking I'd end on the Bose and be sold. Right before the Bose, I stopped at these Klipsch speakers and was just absolutely blown away by their quality of sound for the price. I then went to play the Bose thinking they'd blow me away only to be disappointed by their lack in the lower spectrum of audio. Their highs are great but they weren't much noticeably different than the Klipsch, the Klipsch's however were just such a better choice though after comparing them. If you're looking for something more compact, then obviously the Bose ones will be your choice, but if you have a little extra space for the subwoofer, then I'd go with these because you can't just axe a subwoofer and expect to still get great highs and lows in your music. ALSO, I don't want to say who in the store recommended these to me while I was browsing (because I don't want to get them in trouble), but several of these "same people" said they recommended these over Bose, it was insane how confident they all were.

Anyhow, if you're going to go Bose, then go with their $400 ones, because those are the only ones with a subwoofer. If you want to save the $$ then go with these and you will be just as happy. I'll re-update after I've had these for a few months.

What's great about it: Incredible value, THX certified, superior sound, not too big

What's not so great: The aesthetic (but only a little)

I can't say enough good things about this desktop speaker system; the sound is amazing- great mids & highs, and the base will shake the room. And the price is surprisingly low. The sound rivals systems costing twice as much; really! BUY THIS SOUND SYSTEM! You won't be sorry.
