Can't imagine better sound quality from computer speakers. Impressed with built quality as well. Control knobs are nicely tight and turn with a refined resistance. Bass is ample for my liking at about a 1/3 of max setting. Great midrange and treble from satellites. Also appreciate how they are angled up for proper imaging from computer desk height. Even packaging was impressive (well protected in shipment). Plenty of power!

Fantastic

Before I owned these speakers, I owned a pair that I purchased back in 2006 and the name brand on those speakers are Altec Lancing; these speakers are a tough act to follow, so I had to do a lot of looking. Klipsch has exceeded my expectations by blowing Altec out of the water. These Klipsch speakers are the best 2.1 speakers I have heard. Every thing that people have been reporting about the fact that they are very loud is true, and the clarity remains at high volume.
There is one thing that for the life of me I don't understand: Why do the 2.1 speakers, not have a power button is beyond me.

Decent Sound and Awesome Bass

Surprisingly good

I've had these speakers for a few years and love them. I rarely write reviews but felt this one to be necessary as this is a true story. A friend of mine threw a party at a rented hall. She asked me to provide sound and on the night of the event I brought my home stereo and my iPod. I had connected my iPod to my stereo at home before but had never turned the receiver up to a volume that would be necessary for a large room with at least 80 people in it. At the party I had to push the wattage to the limit to get the volume needed but every time I did the receiver would overload and cut off. I quickly drove home and grabbed my Klipsch speakers. Being in a hurry, I didn't take the time to break down the stereo system I had originally brought and just set the satellite speakers on top of my JBL towers and the subwoofer under the table holding the receiver. I always thought these things sounded great in my home but I couldn't believe how loud they could really get if needed without sacrificing sound quality. Many complimented me on the sound but not a single one of them figured out that the sound wasn't coming from the JBL towers. I told a few people what was happening and they were blown away. Some wouldn't believe me until I told them to put their hands in front of the towers and they felt no vibration. I highly recommend you check them out. For the money you can't really beat them.
