Ive had my speakers for almost a year now.......and nothing whats so ever has gone wrong....there still clear as can be and the bass is seriously low and deep!!!!!!! I like to listen to really loud music which usually results in the speakers blowing but so far these are working just great......the sounds incredible for the price and having owned BOSE computer speakers these seriously sound better. Plus they are THX certified!! But anyway for the price these are pretty descent.
What's great about it: Great price, clear sound, low and deep bass with no major rumble that you get with cheaper speakers
What's not so great: the size of the speakers the sub woofer is OK but the speakers themselves are kinda big.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had my grandmother buy these speakers at Best Buy and ship them to me to Nicaragua...... yes, Nicaragua. Once I received the speakers I was freaking out because I did not get any type of sound from them. After 2 weeks of busting my head on how expensive it was going to be to ship them back to the U.S., I happened to find out that my back up battery was not powering the speakers. After plugging the speakers to the wall plug I was amazed with the sound quality and loudness of the speakers. I definitely recommend these speakers, even if you have to ship them around the world to get them.
What's great about it: Sound quality, Strong Build, Loudness
What's not so great: Price could be a little better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Greattt 2.1 set for a computer

Picked these speakers up today at my local best buy for around 150$ after going down the line and pressing all the little red buttons to test the speakers. These were about half as expensive as a comparable bose model and about twice as expensive as the other options. These speakers are an incredible value and provide rich sound from bass to mids to highs. I have been testing them on high quality music files and they really do great. I dont think a bose 2.1 system could best this product. The self contained amp within the subwoofer really pumps out some strong sound for a 2.1 and you can get these LOUD before any distortion. Zero cons here. This product is a no brainer if youre looking for a 2.1 system. Dont even waste your time looking around anymore!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I paid $138 on an "open box" set.
I set up and placed them how i wanted in my bedroom...I plugged and played...I got nice DEEP bass...along with crisp & clear satellites...what else is there to say...you tune in your style of music with the Subwoofer, Main Volume & PC Volume..and presto!
Im really pleased...
I bang out EDM "Electronic Dance Music" most of the time and as im walking back to my room when i have it tuned up, it almost feels like im walking up to a stage at a festival!
Im pretty sure most of you would be happy with this set...if not just return them within the 30days.. and search for something else...
all the best, try them, hear and feel for yourself.
What's great about it: the system it self
What's not so great: No "On/Off button"

I just installed this system about a half hour ago, and have just completed making the test rounds with it. I must say, I am extremely impressed with the capabilities of this product. It's highly comparable to other brands of the same quality, but for a much more reasonable price. I find it surprising that some people rate the Value for Price lower than anything but a 5! Completely satisfied, with the only piece missing being how long the sub will last now that I'll be using it constantly ;)
What's great about it: Everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted a stereo, not a surround sound system

This is the answer. I have this connected to a Apple Airport Express ($100) and I can send any audio from my iPad to it wirelessly, also using a ($25) piece of software 'Airfoil' I can send any audio from my pc to the speakers and control the volume from the iPad or PC. Really sweet sound at low levels and high, better than the Bose (way better at less than half the price, but if you interested in Bose your probably not reading this).
Anyway had them about 6 weeks now and just flawless performance.
What's great about it: Sound, price
What's not so great: No on/off switch, I have mine connected to surge protecter, easier to kill the power that way
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've used Klipsch speakers for my home theater and have yet to find any brand to compare. When I wanted to upgrade my computer speaker system, I researched and finally bought the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 from Best Buy. I bought the system for $94.99 while they were on sale. I must say that this is the best sounding computer speaker system on the market. The bass is strong and powerful and the highs are brilliant. You simply can't go wrong with these speakers...especially for the price.
What's great about it: Powerful bass, brilliant highs, good build quality...
What's not so great: I didn't buy them sooner!!
I would recommend this to a friend!
