Doesn't have blue tooth capability. Doesn't have on/off button. The light that signals the speakers are on is way too bright. I covered it up with thick tape.

Good sound but poor features prevent this from being the perfect speakers. No power button, base is too soft, led light that lights up the whole room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought these when it was time to grow up and lose the 5.1 computer speakers and all those wires. I was very happy initially.
These speakers are not a one. They sound too good for that. Mine lasted about a year which is below expectations. This is happening to too many people in my opinion (reviews read). Tempted to buy another pair but the short life kept me from doing that. The problem is the built in amp. I am actually using the 2 satellite speakers on a separate Bluetooth amp using a PSW10 sub. This too sounds great.
Something I did a couple times during the summer was use these for outdoor movie theater for the kids. Outdoor sound requires more than computer speakers will normally provide but these did an outstanding job for their size at just over half volume.
Maybe a little bit better than my other set that wasn't THX but I still wish there was an off and on switch. My older set was always plugged in and on. It seems that the electronics inside the sub went bonkers and I could only hear the sub. I ordered the new set as soon as I found out the older ones were toast. It took less than a week to get to my front door. I have started unplugging them when I'm done listening to music which is what I got them for in the first place. I was reminded of how great they sound when I had to hook up on of my old sets of computer speakers.
