While the main speakers sound fine, the sub is extremely lacking. Not what they used to be years ago as I had an older pair that was really nice to listen to until I had it a little loud and blew one of the speakers. Now this newer replacement just sounds terrible compared. Not sure what's changed but the sub doesn't play near the lows the other did. Sounds like it has a crossover turned too high or something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What an upgrade for gaming!

The speakers are a breeze to set up and get going in 5 minutes. I had some older Bose speakers which I still like but wanted an upgrade so I took a chance on these. I only use these on my Alienware Gaming Computer and wow does Diablo4 sound great. Incredible upgrade that was more than worth the 100 bucks. In my media room I do have a 7.2 klipsch system which led me to these over say....sony!
All in all a fantastic purchase!
