I say these on sale and wanted to upgrade from my old Logitech PC speakers. Much to my disappointment, after I hooked them up, It was obvious that my old speakers had much better mids and highs than the Promedia 2.1. Yes... the Promedia had better bass volume than my old Logitech, but I was very surprised that a "THX Certified" speaker would be so weak. i returned the set and went back to my logitech.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you got delicate taste in speakers and sound systems and also are very picky ,just let me say this, this little sound system right here doesn't disappoint the noise coming out of this sucker is phenomenal , it lives up to its name I give this review A- 5 Star rating
