Beautiful sound but poor durability

Sound quality is fantastic but after only a couple years the left channel has completely died and I have no clue why. Sound would inconsistently come out of the R/L speakers took, no matter what I did it's like it couldn't support sound coming out of both at the same time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This speaker set up will likely be with you forever! A friend of mine picked one up many years ago and was amazed by its sound from its rather small footprint. I quickly picked up a system for my own use and have used it through multiple pc builds and for anything needing to bump loud and rattle stuff off the walls. Have recommended it to several friends and no one has been disappointed period. Klipsch never stop making these! Forever a Klipsch buyer here! The reviews Do Not Lie!

Powerful, great sounding, tight bass

Great sounding speakers. The bass is tight and not boomy. Highs are crystal clear and the mids pull it all together. Nice package at a good price.

Make no mistake; this is NOT an ordinary 2.1 desktop speaker system. Regardless of taste in music the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 THX Computer Speakers will knock it out the park on the first pitch. The sound is robust and generous; the louder you go on the volume the more enjoyable the experience becomes with NO distortion and no clipping effect. The quality of sound is crisp, clear, and very well-toned and balanced. The subwoofer is the hidden monster in this speaker system; it is well blended with the L & R satellites. Watching movies and playing video games that are encoded with the latest sound technologies will easily provide a very satisfying listening experience.
If you enjoy the presence of deep, clean, punchy bass in your music, movies, and video games then it’s likely you will love this 2.1 speaker system.
I purchased it directly from the manufacturer on a Christmas sale and have not wasted my time looking back at my old, dated, Bose Companion 2 Series II Speaker System.
Long story short, the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 THX Computer Speaker system was the perfect upgrade.
