So close to perfect

I originally bought a set of ProMedia's around 2009. They were the first version Klipsch made with the circular 6-pin connector on the sub. Those speakers were with me through multiple moves and numerous computer combo's. Didn't matter if I was gaming or listening to media, they sounded fantastic and looked great doing it. Recently the bass level was stuck near minimum and wouldn't adjust so I bought a new set. I was surprised and honestly worried when the new sub was noticeably lighter than the old one. After using them for about a week now, I have to say they sound just as good as the old ones. My only criticism is the white LED on the control pod. The old speakers had a gentle green LED that was perfect, these have an obnoxiously bright white LED. For me this is a huge problem because it's bright to the point of being uncomfortable to look at. I had to put a piece of tape over the light so it's not blinding my periphery. I've owned a few pieces of tech over the years with way overly bright LED's and I just don't get why companies do this. Tape makes everything it's used on look so tacky and janky especially tech. It's the only reason I rated these speakers 4 instead of 5 stars. Eventually I'll come up with a more aesthetically pleasing solution like painting the LED or heck, maybe even soldering a resistor on it. For now, the tape is doing the job and the speakers still sound great.

What a pleasant surprise!

I have been in the music business for 55 years. I bought this compact system to replace my bulky old speakers. I was shocked when I heard the sound this system puts out. The highs are crisp and clear and the subwoofer is deep and clean. The only downfall is that there is no on/off switch. I highly recommend this system.

Great computer speakers! I participate in a lot of Zoom meetings these days and wanted my audio to have a bigger sound. I have several Klipsch soundbars that I love, so decided to take a chance on these. They do not disappoint! Amazing how much sound comes out of such a small package. I wish I had bought these a long time ago!

The entire reason this fell 1 star short of 5 is that it doesn't have a power switch. The sound is phenomenal and I love the set up. But why this doesnt have a simple on/off switch baffles me. Also, I wish it came in white.
