Sound and volume and price excellent. I wish the speakers had an off switch. I wish they came with an app for my computer to adjust some settings better than MSFT or Dell standards.

Got it about 3 years ago and people still talk about how great it sounds in my office. I even got one for my daughters room. I’m waiting for it to come out again to get another pair for another computer in the house.

Best speakers on a budget

So much love for these speakers. They were amazing in college and worked as a home entertainment system in smaller spaces. Can’t beat the product for the price.

When I first got this speaker system, it came in broken and I already had a call in for a new one. And then the second one lasted me a couple more years, but then it suddenly stopped working. I will not be buying again.

Sounded great when they worked then the fronts completely stopped sub still works tho idk what’s going on. Keep seeing you gotta replace capacitors in amp. Haven’t had that long maybe a little over a year.

Great sound that won't stand the test of time...

I've purchased the ProMedia 2.1 THX Computer Speaker system twice because of the amazing sound quality. The 1st time it lasted about 3 years then suddenly without warning the right channel began to produce static then eventually went out all together. I found an amazing deal on them the 2nd time around and thought that it would be safe to purchase since it had been a few years since my original purchase. This time around it took less than 2 years for the exact same issue to show itself. Once again the right speaker began to produce static then went out yet again. Both were purchased brand new and both failed miserably. I will not make the mistake of purchasing them a 3rd time. Great sounding speakers that quite frankly don't last at all. I would not recommend the ProMedia 2.1 THX Computer Speaker system because it seems to be a flawed product that will not stand up to normal use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The left speaker is hissing/crackling when I move the volume button or no sound comes out at all. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP.
