Amazing sound.... short life

Purchased this as a Christmas gift in 2020. They were out of the box and hooked up in minutes. They sounded amazing! Great clarity and the bass was just right. Despite being used only occasionally, they stopped working in just under 2 years. Very disappointing for a Klipsch product.

Great speakers with excellent sound. Subwoofers works good giving you bass. Speakers made of good material and esthetically look very nice.

Nice sounding unit for close field listening. Only problem I had was with the packaging, The top of the box was retaped, as if was opened (did you send me a refurbished unit?) and there is no power switch. But it sounds great!! No regrets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheap volume and tone pots

They need to upgrade to better quality Volume and tone pots. They fail early, if you don't have the knob turned just right, you'll only hear on speaker. Very annoying.
Pros: Nice sounding
Cons: My second set, the volume pot is already failing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have bought multiple sets of these over the years, SUPERB

I listen to EDM and game - I bought these back when they originally came out in a 4.1 form, as well as after they scaled them to only the 2.1 offering. Nowadays gaming headphones have made the 4.1 form obsolete, but the 2.1's rock for music and HT on your computer. Tight bass response, excellent Klipsch tweeter's give it "that" sound you're looking for. When they originally came out (over a decade ago) they had some minor issues regarding the controls but this has all been fixed. I have an old set over 10 years old still in use, just replaced the sub's main woofer but the electronics and box still work great. This is one of the original sets of "high end" computer speakers, before these came on the market it was just a bunch of garbage 5W tinny speakers on the market. And they still lead the way, great job Klipsch on continuing to offer these outstanding speakers.

Great home computer/gaming speaker system

Love Klipsch products. Was introduced to Klipsch in 1987 and the KG 4 home stereo speakers. Sold on Klipsch since that day. The Promedia is great for music via my Surface or gaming. One complaint is that when no music playing when my computer is off, I here popping and scratching at low volume from the subwoofer. The volume switch does not change the sound. It is not audible when listening to music to not much of a concern. I need to connect the power cord to a separate cord with a toggle on/off switch so when not in use I can turn the power off to the speakers as there is not a power button with this system.
Pros: Great sound as always.
Cons: Pooping and scratching from sub when silent.
I would recommend this to a friend!
