Great Sound, poor longevity

My significant other had a set that he gave me and they deteriorated after years of use by him previously. I have purchased two sets of these due to their excellent sound quality. Each purchased set I experienced issues with the wiring to the sub woofer. Set 1 the wire connector lock in broke. Set 2 internal connectivity issue caused power to sub woofer to short out. The set bequeathed to me was far superior in manufacture quality and they were 3 years old when I got them I used them for another year. PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY if that is an option. You know that we are living in a disposable world...I am not a disposable girl.
Pros: Attractive, Compact, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio
Cons: Not Durable, Sub woofer tends to wreck its own wiring.

Love these speakers

I use these speakers on daily bases while working on my computer and listening to music. Love the clear sound and powerful bass. The best speakers out there for the money. I deducted one star because there is no way to turn these speakers off while on standby. They draw 8.5 phantom watts when not in use.
Pros: Attractive, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio
Cons: No Power Off Switch

i love this speakers very much and powerful listen to my music shake in the house unbelieve i bet my neighor love listen to my music when it beat on only thing bug me does not have switch off from the subwoofer so what i do is using my powerstrip turn it off from there instead unplug

The 90x40 dispersion pattern on the tops gives you adequate coverage for most uses. The metal bases are removeable which allows for further mounting options on the tops. I like that Klipsch seems to have used some trickle-down knowledge from their commercial-grade installation systems here. This system has been around for over 13 years and still remains at the top of its class. Both the tops and sub are well built and durable during transportation. I like the 100Hz crossover as opposed to a 120Hz on most computer system as it allows the tops to extend a bit lower. The sub realistically extends down to about 45Hz. The output to size ratio of this system is suprising. The claimed 106dB SPL @ 1m, if not accurate, is not far off from being accurate.
Pros: Compact, Durable

The quality of the sound coming out of that thing is amazing. I have this plugged into my T.V., and i occasionally will plug it into my phone. It works perfectly.

I have always been impressed with Klipsch once my friend bought a home theater system. I could only imagine that if the home entertainment system was amazing that the Promedia 2.1 could be close to it. Last Saturday I ended up buying a set for my room. Once it was setup, I was even more impressed with the sound. I then found out that the bass know was practically turned off so then I cranked it like Mary McFly in Back To The Future....to overload..lol. I was very shocked at the bass response where I feel in love. I even plan on buying a set for my work machine. I am proud to say that I bought the best. Thank you Klipsch.

Best Quality for the Price

I was struggling to find a good outside system. Bose 30 sound touch is too expensive. BT solutions lack power and sound depth. Do I broke out the Klipsch 2.1 computer speakers from storage and set it up on the patio and wow. What a sound. 200 watts of party music this summer. All for a modest price.
