Great sound and Quality

Great sound quality at all volume levels. One of the best features I found is the ability to replace individual parts of the system instead of having to get a whole new system. The control module failed after a couple years of use, and rather than having to trash the whole system, I simply ordered a new module and was able to continue to use the system I love which was not the case with my previous system made by a competitor. I also love the ability to tap other inputs into the system allowing me to watch TV and movies with that great Klipsch sound. This system was my intro to Klipsch products and now I won't buy any speakers that are not Klipsch. Currently I'm building a home theater system with Klipsch speakers and continue to be a thoroughly satisfied customer. Keep up the good work!!!

I bought these speakers about 3 years ago to replace my Promedia 4.1 after the amp overheated, and I am very happy with my purchase! I was very disappointed that klipsch discontinued the Promedia 4.1 but when I herd they still made these I felt a little better. I've abused the heck out of these things and they still work great. When I bought my house I used these for music while I was finishing my basement and they filled the room with great sounding bass! I had them on the stairs with the volume up to high and when the bass hit they fell down about 10 steps but they were still goin! I blew the subwoofer once but that was easy to replace. The speakers have been bumped off my desk so many times that the left speaker casing has a crack in it but it still works good. The only thing that's annoying is sometimes they make a popping noise when nothing is playing but I'm sure its just because of all the abuse. They will distort a little with bass heavy songs but they still sound good.

The sound quality on this set of speakers was so amazing, it's an absolute shame they stopped working less than 3 years after I purchased them and of course they are out of warranty, nor can they be serviced by Klipsch. Sadly the build quality of this product was nowhere near as nice as the sound. If you want to rent a pair of awesome speakers, this is the set for you. I wanted to love this set of speakers, but how can you love something that is so poorly made? Unfortunately, my experiment purchasing Klipsch products has come to an end. Also, kind of surprised they don't have a star rating broken out for sound quality, because I would have given that a 5, which makes the loss of my speakers all the more sad.

old ones were better

the older ones were better... if you bought them in like 2011 or so... I bought a set less than a week ago and the subs already popping like a motha... My old OG set was legit and put through lots of abuse.. im serious at one point in time i even wired them inside my old car and they never once quit... these new ones with the white light just don't hold up. i mean these things are so new they don't even have a spec of dust on them that's how "long" its been since i bought them. and the sub is already going out.. The sound quality is amazing... but you just never know about them anymore.. wish i still had my original set. when the power light was green and not white. buddy has the same set in his room for like 6 years now.. no problems. wish i could say the same for my set.

failed after a week

Had them two weeks and the sound suddenly would only work through the subwoofer. Threads says that it's more than likely the amplifier. Sounded good but evidently there is a quality issue with them.

Failed within 3 years (TWICE!)

Shame on me for buying this product a second time. Purchased a set a few years ago and they died within about 3 years (sub still worked, but left/right speakers not working). Figured it was just a fluke, so I bought a second set. The second system died THE EXACT SAME WAY within about 3 years.
From reading around online, it sounds like some of the internal components (capacitors, resistors, etc) fail after a few years. I would NOT recommend buying this product. Look elsewhere for a better quality product. Klipsch, contact me if you're willing to make this right.

Amazing sound quality that's easily the best I've ever heard. They have to be close and aren't really for home theater or large room use. My one and only concern are the ridiculous number of unit failures mentioned here and another major seller's site. Hope they last more than a year which seems to be their life-span.
