Would not recommend these speakers.

After less than a year of minimal use, these speakers have a continuous humming sound when power is on. I have disconnected and reconnected the speakers multiple times and cannot get the humming sound to go away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still reviewing my purchase but so far, the quality difference is STAGGERING 👌🏽🤌🏽😘 compared to the exact same product purchased several times via Amazon that was advertised as new, but the subwoofer was rattling con and obviously broken. I literally had to just see the difference for myself to make sure i wasn't imagining!!!- So please be aware resellers are scamming customers with your brand but either selling knock offs or poorly refurbished systems deliberately. 👁☹🚮

Been using original ProMedia 2.1 speakers+sub since 2002, everything still works great. Not sure if the ones made in 2023 are made with the same care but getting two decades of use out of the originals is pretty awesome.

I'm on my 3rd set of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Computer speakers. I love the sound and I'm pretty happy with them. The thing that I'm not happy with is the fact that they burn out like every 2-3 years. I hope that this 3rd set is going to last longer, if not then I might have to look at some other options.

Great sound for price, blew away old comp speakers

These sound fantastic. I have Klipsch reference premier speakers on my main stereo system and have been absolutely enamored with them for 2+ years, so I wanted something to really liven up my office setup as well. These seemed like a great value for a speaker that's made by a company I've come to really love, so I figured I'd given them a shot. I am primarily using these for listening to music while I work, and taking conference calls (with music being my main audio concern). So far I am really pleased with them. The sound quality is excellent. They absolutely blow my older Logitech set out of the water - like not even close. And that set was a similar configuration, and not a whole lot cheaper. There's just no comparison in audio quality. I did see that several reviewers were concerned about the longevity of these speakers and some had issues with them failing over time. That is definitely a concern to me. I have not had them long enough yet to make any comment on that, but I figured the price point was reasonable enough for me to give it a try. So far I am thoroughly pleased with how they sound for the price I paid. The jury is still out on their longevity.

These are excellent sounding speakers before the sub fries. At that point you can't use the system anymore, so it becomes an expensive plant stand.

Still strong after 10 years

I bought these in early 2014. They sound great. Blew me away for the price. They have lasted 10 years. The only issue is the subwoofer foam cone disintegrated in 2023. Easy fix, I just replaced the speaker and works great.
