I have this in my bedroom to pump out the Electronic Dance music from my PC... I like feeling my music aside from just listening! :) trancefamily
Pros: All around PRO, Attractive, Compact, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio
Cons: No OnOff switch

Very Good System

Have had these since February 2013 so far they are working has expected. Using them right now on a TV. Expect to do a comparison with my roughly 18 yr old Sony Sys as soon has they make it to where I am now, The Sony's were a lot more Expensive back in 93-94 and they are or where still working when they were packed away. The only thing this Sys needs is a **REMOTE CONTROL** when being used on a TV the volume differences between channels causes the low frequency's to change somewhat. so by being able to very the Sub volume anyway you would cutout or stop the booming from the sub. With the Sub's crossover being set so high (5kz)compared to a standard sub's 80-100 cycles the placing of the sub is "critical" if you want to be able to get the **STEREO EFFECT** that you want. The Sub really needs to be set in the middle between the two Satellites. Now since I have these hooked to a TV and not a Desk top or Laptop I don't have the break a desk would give by placing the Sub under it. Part of the Satellites Mid-Range is being transmitted Via the Sub so both Sat's have part of there Frequency coming from the sub which causes one side to seem full range and the other hard to hear because its mid-low range isn't present with the sub on one side or the other next to the Sat's.

I have the promedia 2.1 hooked up to my desktop computer and when I first listened to it I was blown away and still am every time I hear it...I am going camping to a site with electricity and I'm gonna take this and hook up my I pod via the input jack...I can't wait to really turn it up out there and see what it can do!!! The best two words to describe this system... simply amazing!!!

As a heavy electronic music enthusiast, the speakers deliver the highs and lows, powerful base and crisp vocals. I have been using it for the past 4 months and lovin' it!
Pros: Attractive, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio
Cons: Heavy, Heavy / Bulky

i use this system in my bedroom hooked up to my television sound is out of this world i have two larger system and this little setup can go toe to toe with the sound quailty

I've had this set for close to a year. Still works great. I just had a party for the first time using these speakers and got the police called for noise complaint. Needless to say, this set of speakers pack a punch.

I first read about these speakers' larger cousin, the 5.1 system, back around 2000. The review raved about their quality and precision of sound but at that time the price was much higher. Since I was in high school, I settled for a set that didn't cost as much and proceeded to lust after the Klipsch for most of the next decade. Finally in 2008 when I got back from being overseas, I bought myself the 2.1's and O.M.G. they are everything I dreamed they would be. When it comes to games, you can hear every detail in the environments. The sense of depth and immersion is excellent. When it comes to music, they can handle any range. The subwoofer will deliver with bass intense genres like hip hop and the sattelites won't even break a sweat if you like progressive, classic, or metal rock. I listen to mostly big band jazz, dubstep, and the previously mentioned rock genres and these speakers make my car and headphones sound completely inadequate. I haven't had these turned up more than half way because it's just too loud but it never distorted and I could still easily hear the seperation between intstruments or sound effects. I have these speakers hooked up to an X-fi Extreme Gamer sound card. The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because recently the left channel has started having some vibration with very specific sounds. 99% of the time it's fine, I probably just need to tighten something. I've probably written a total of 3 online reviews in my life and I love these speakers so much that I wanted to write this. Also the price is nuts! It just keeps dropping! I would absolutely buy these again, they are worth way more than what Klipsch is charging.
