The only negative coment is the din plug. it doesn't make a solid connection. I removed the controls from the speaker, and placed it close to me. these are the best sounding pc speakers on the market, hands down. deep, smooth bass.
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio

Only gripes are, and I hope engineering is listening, is to space the controls further apart.. Potentiometer static noise when turned at low volumes

Rescued from my father.

My father was about to throw this speaker system away after buying Altec Lansing computer speakers. He didn't like the sound coming from the Promedia 2.1. I literally rescued these gems from the garbage. Well, what I mean is from his pile of things he'd never use again. Took it home and fired it up. First impression was not good. I thought I now knew why he didn't like it. It didn't sound crystal clear at all. So I just let it burn in for a couple of days straight. Came home from work and I thought my wife bought me another set of speakers. To my surprise, the Klipsch sounded so clear. I played another playlist and everything came out beautifully. All it took was some burn in time. He didn't give it a chance. He thought it was muddy out of the box and packed it all up. On their next visit to our house, he was also surprised at how the Promedia 2.1 sounded. He even joked about taking it back. LOL. This is a true gem. It plays loud and plays crystal clear. Added a Bluetooth receiver recently for convenience. Still loving it.

All That & A Bag of Chips..

My entire music system is Klipsch. Home theater with two subwoofers is all Klipsch including portable & blue tooth speakers are all Klipsch. There is no substitute for quality in sound reproduction by Klipschorn. Quite simply the very best.
Pros: Clarity at all levels of volume with Gr8t bass.

I've had this system for almost a year now, since last august as a home system. But now on July 5th, 2012.. the sub has died. Don't know exactly why. pried the thing open and the head & cone was fine , no damage. But the magnet was burning hot. The amp was fine as well but i guess it was just this subs time to go..
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Audio, Lots of Bass
Cons: Heavy / Bulky, Not Durable
