We bought these to replace the blown Logitech THX speakers similar to this which we use for movie night, video games and home karaoke. The max volume was half the Logitechs and the EQ was muddy and unpleasant. We are taking them back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coming from headphones I did not expect much for a outside sound system. That being said I am ASTOUNDED. Quite literally speechless at how good the system is. The sub was bigger than I expected it to be and makes you FEEL the action going on around you. Not only that but my mind is boggled at how crisp the speakers are. Some noises feel like it actually RIGHT in front of you. Klipsch has impressed me, I've also ordered a system for my TV!

I was shocked with the quality of the sound and bass on these speakers/subwoofer. I’m absolutely in love with it! Do note that the bass on its loudest setting, is LOUD. Like living in a dorm room, people 2 floors below feel the shaking. In other words I love this product. First time with Klipsch and definitely not my last.
