Poor Quality 3.5mm Jack

Good sounding product, however I and many others have had problems with the 3.5mm jack (WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY TO CONNECT TO THE NON BLUETOOTH). Had for two years and have always had problems with the audio jack and it would always be crunchy and just very cheap. No noise on my pair but the left and right would always cut out on occasion. The audio jack recently had started going out for the right side and I have repaired myself but the fact that the 3.5 is hard wired to the speakers is just awful for the longevity of the product and for that I can not recommend at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this set about four years ago and finally got it set up. This ProMedia 2.1 is Awesome!!! I have deprived myself of the the wonderful sounds that it produces. Music, movies, podcast, etc... everything played through this system sounds heavenly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve bought these speakers about 4 times in the past 10 years. They are my favorite and I’ve gifted them to people who say they absolutely love them for their high quality and great sound.

Rich clear sound even at high volume.

My background is in professional sound and lighting for stages, theaters, and concerts. The ProMedia system is truly impressive. Even at high volume, they don't break up. The bass speaker, which I recognize as a bass bin, has a well-thought-out design with the port. The air pressure emitting from the port is spot on.
After purchasing them from another online retailer, I found that the factory offers them at a lower price compared to a well-known online seller.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a HUGE fan of the sound and performance of these speakers, but not the reliability of longevity of them. This is now the 3rd set of these speakers I have gone with for my computer. Both of the other sets had electrical issues with them (amplifier) after the 1 year warranty period.
Given how these are used, and not abused, I would expect them to last longer than 3-5 years, at most. No reason they shouldn't last 10+ years if not more. I know Klipsch makes great speakers and even looking at a home theater/audiophile setup with their speakers, but the frustration with lack of reliability from these is getting a bit old. Yes, just picked up another set of these speakers, on my dime, but this will probably be the last set.

love the sound, wish the volume control would have had an off setting. Also in Windows 11, don't have a setting for a 2.1 system to, say, click on the subwoofer to test it through windows.
