If you want top quality audio for your desktop. This system is it. Don't under estimate the 6.5" subwoofer. Klipsch did a wonderful job with the sub box. This system slams. Not to mention the satellite speakers. Crystal clear audio. You get what you pay for.

First Klipsch product - Hands Down, Best PC sound solution.

I purchased this solution in early 2011 to accompany an iMac 27". 6 years later this audio solution continues to impress me. In 2015 I upgraded from the 2011 iMac to a custom built PC with a dedicated sound card for improved fidelity (SoundBlaster Zx). I was even more impressed with the clarity and fullness of sound than ever before - 4 years later. Even today this solution continues to impress my friends and neighbors alike. For the price, this solution is an enduring game-changer and worthwhile purchase. If this solution were to gain self-awareness, grow legs, and exercise it's sovereignty and freedom of movement; I would purchase this again. That being said, no solution is without it's shortcomings. From day one the potentiometers in the control-pod that was supplied with this model in 2011 produce noticeable crackling on volume adjustments. Adjusting volume from the control-pod even prevents audio signal from going to one channel if not re-adjusted finely. That being said, even 5 years later, I cannot think of any other shortcoming since ownership. I do wonder if the replacement control-pods offered produce the same result as far as crackling, if not I will pursue a replacement. Bottom line: To Klipsch Group, Inc: Your team has done an excellent service for the PC market with this solution! I vociferously recommend this solution to any of my friends and those who wish to build or upgrade their PC and also pursue an audio solution. Those who come to my house are left with a lasting impression by this solution. I also stress the importance of a well made internal sound card from a proven manufacturer to have the best audio reproduction. Well done Klipsch Group, Inc! You have my business going forward.

Still Kickin' After All These Years!

It is my firm belief that Klipsch speakers are a best kept secret and by far superior to any other 2.1 computer or small electronic speaker set in its class and indeed, even in more expensive sets as well... and they are durable. My set has been been running almost constantly for nine consecutive years, since 2002! I don't turn them off unless I need to turn off my entire system... and their sound still blows me away every time I play a song. I love them so much I cannot conceive of ever using another brand of speakers for my desktop. Furthermore, when I configure the sound system for my dream home, you can bet Klipsch will be the star of the show. These guys know sound.
Pros: Attractive, Awesome clarity, Durable, Energy Efficient
Cons: The connection style

Talked the wife into getting me the Promedia 2.1 speaker system for our home office by saying they would be a great Christmas present.....but in August???? Anyway, then I had to open them to ensure all was well since there was a ding in the corner of the outer cardboard box....then I had to try them to ensure they hadn't been damaged in shipping...and there you are. Just an amazing little system that has way too much high-quality sound for my 15'x12' office as the wife has agreed to let me put the empty box under the tree with a bow on it when the time comes !!!!! My older dog loves the Dead and sub-woofers ;-) and he is now one happy camper as I listen to SiriusXM while doing work on the computer and he lies under the laydown table next to the new sub-woofer. We have a 7.1 Klipsch surround-sound system in the den for our music and TV listening pleasures and we are extremely pleased with the new addition to our Klipsch family. All I will say is that these are not computer speakers, they are great speakers hooked up to my computer. Great bass from all three speakers, clear as a bell high end and mid-range, and so reasonably priced that I am pinching myself. All anyone needs to know is that my wife is completely happy also as they sound so good, as long as I keep the volume down.

Hooked these up to my projection TV for some weekend binging and MAN, what amazing sound! If you're just getting these for your computer, you will not be disappointed, but you're only just touching on what they are capable of. Klipsch truly lived up to their reputation with these speakers. The price really makes them a steal. I'm ordering another set.

These do sound very nice for the money. They're also easy to set up.
They do have two major flaws:
1) You can't turn them off. There's no power button, there's no "off" position on the volume knob.
2) The power light, which, keep in mind, you can't turn off, is ridiculously bright. You'll need to tape it over if you want to keep these in your bedroom.

I really wish I had known these things before I bought this unit. I probably would have made a different decision.

Great Sound!

The satellite design comes from Bose, but at a fraction of the price. There is no off button, and that's ok, but the LED on the left speaker is way too bright!
