Disappointed!!

Disappointed!! I purchased the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 computer speakers in May 2020. Recently, there is a constant buzzing in the speakers the minute power is applied. I tried all the remedies, with no resolutions. I have two home theater system built with Klipsch speakers that I’ve been very satisfied with. However, I read several forums that indicate this is an ongoing problem that has not been resolved. I replaced the Klipsch system with a Logitech Z625 set and the issue was fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An excellent upgrade

These speakers replaced a multimedia system that I had used for a very long time and after doing my homework, the decision to buy these was one of the best I made to upgrade the system.
Pros: The upgrade is real and you can actually hear it
Cons: I didn't see any

I was one of the consumers clamoring for Klipsch to bring back this system(I had the same system in the past) We only have access to cash here so I have to mail a friend a check and they're going to get it shipped to me..... can't wait !!!! :)

I got them as computer speakers and they outperform anything I have in the house; Mini Stereo, Sound Bar etc.They far exceeded my expectations; much better than a name brand I was using at the same price point , with a quality recording/signal you will hear stuff you didn't know was there. I am thrilled with my purchase.
Cons: no power SW , power strip W switch recommended

Beware the preamp!

After a couple of years, low level volume became scratchy so I replaced preamp at my expense. Google this and see it is a common problem. Now the new one does the same thing plus the sub hardly plays at all. I've purchased many electronics in my 70 years of life, it's my passion, but because of this bad experience with the pro media 2.1 desktop speakers, I will always avoid all Klipsch products.
Cons: Volume scratchy at low levels..common..Google it

I have Klipsch in my car, my home stereo, and now my computer. I absolutely love them. Only thing is they really do need an on/off button, I have to un-plug them at night, but small issue for such great sounding speakers. Keep it up!!
Pros: Attractive, Compact, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Audio
Cons: No on/off button.
