Horrible issues with Drivers

A lot of issues with Windows. The sound driver keeps messing up on these and they fail to work 50% of the time.

Don’t last

I had a pair of these for my computer system and they work great while they work but they didn’t work very long and the channel inside the subwoofer blew out the speaker was fine because I switch sides and it worked on the other side. I see that written about quite a bit in these comments and it’s very true. I ended up just throwing them away I had a pair of the sixes that I was going to use in my bedroom and I ended up putting them on my computer instead much better speakers of course the pricier and there’s no subwoofer which they really don’t need it

This setup is made for a computer, I get it, but i was hoping to use it in my bedroom for music. The sound quality of the system is mediocre at best. There is plenty of bass, all kinds of bass, way too much bass. I do not turn the bass above 1/8th volume which is a good level but it is thick and syrupy. It is impossible to tell what instrument is creating the bass. The mids and highs are very thin and small sounding. I compared them to my towers and even at the same volume, the Klipsch sounded very small. I also found that I could not listen very long, the mids are quite fatiguing. Not all is bad, however. This system produces decent stereo imaging. It is capable of producing more sound than you will ever need for gaming. There is plenty of wiring to accommodate most computer desks. If you plan to rattle the windows in your gaming room when you blow something up, this system could, maybe. If you plan to listen to music, you may be a bit disappointed. Klipsch, I'm quite disappointed.

Best bang for the buck

This speaker system blew me away literally. I hooked them up and played some of my favorite music from classical to rock and roll and movie soundtracks and the performance was the best I've ever had in a setup having owned several name brand competitors speakers over the years. These are it for me,I'll never go with another brand. I took a video of my speakers playing and shared it with my friends even though hearing it on a video doesn't do them justice,they were still amazed at what they heard and a couple even went and ordered the same setup and have stated they wish they'd purchased them sooner.

short lifetime, very disappointing

Initially (back in ~2008), I was very impressed with the sound quality of this system. I enjoyed them for a few years. However, I noticed a drastic sound quality deterioration around ~2010. In addition, many parts of this system are made cheap, low quality. If you plan to use this system only for 1-2 years - go for it, otherwise, if you intend to use it longer - I suggest that you go look for some other audio system.
Cons: Not Durable, Poor Sound Quality

great sound, it took me some time to figure out to get the right connection. The standard sound card does not work, i had to output through my HDMI connected monitor. Where is the power button?
