The speakers wouldn't power up, and the subwoofer had something rolling around inside.

Manufacturing defect and lack of QC causing headache

After setting up the unit, i realized that the left channel and right channels are swapped. After making sure i had everything wired up correctly, i traced the problem to the control pod which had the left channel and the right channel swapped. The lack of quality control coming from such a reputable company is unacceptable, 0/10 would not buy again.
THERE IS NO POWER SWITCH. I can not use them where I intended to because I have to move furniture every time I want to turn them on or off. I bought a set over 15 years ago and they do have a power switch but they no longer work. So, now I’ve had to buy a different set of lower quality speakers to replace them because I’m unable to move furniture every time I want to turn them on or off in the location I wanted to use them because of my physical disabilities. A design flaw that resulted in me spending more money than I can really afford. The speakers and sound are excellent that’s why I bought a second set but, I would not recommend them to anyone because of the lack of a power switch.
Dead on arrival! Bought as a Christmas gift for my son and would not turn on out the box.I heard good things about this company but was extremely disappointed on my first purchase. Will now have to deal with the hastle of returning. Don't think I will be purchasing again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
