I am really a fan of this movie and thought it was an excellent adaptation, with changes for time that honestly made the story flow better while getting the same outcome. This is the 4k and bluray, with the extended cut (integrating the motion comic in to more match the graphic novel) on the 4k, and special features and the directors cut (without comic) on bluray.

I got this at a good price of $10 to be well worth the upgrade for me, but the listing & specs originally had it with digital copy which is what sealed the upgrade/duplicate copy for me. All the pictures also showed it having a digital copy, but none actually came with it so it loses a star.

As someone who read the original complex graphic novel, I'm astounded by how much director Zack Snyder was able to squeeze into this film while maintaining coherency. Visually the movie is a treat, like most of Snyder's films and the music selection is stellar.

Digital Code No Longer Included

Warner Bros is no longer including digital redemption codes with this title because they’re “expired”, even though the packaging states that a digital copy of the Ultimate Cut is included. There is no mention of expiration on the packaging. Digital is the only way to watch the UC without 4k. Warners “customer service” did not care about this fraudulent claim on the packaging and will not make the title eligible for disc to Digital on VUDU.
