This is a simple way of adding money to ones PlayStation Wallet if a credit card is not accessible, or if you don't trust them with your credit card information.
These are one time use cards and could be explained in 3 steps:
1) You pay the desired amount on the card at the register or online,
2 Money gets added to the card,
3) Redeem the scratch off code on the back of the card on your PlayStation account.
Not only do those funds allow for purchasing PS3 downloadable content, games, etc. It also allows for purchasing PSP and PS Vita content. Easily a great and easy gift (stocking stuffer!) for a PlayStation gamer.
