Simple but maybe I'm using it wrong...

I used the Oster product a couple times and with each attempt to remove the cork it simply wouldn't come out; after letting the product charge for two days I got the same result. It looks very nice with the charging stand but I'm not certain I'd recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I enjoyed the wine opener a lot. I received this product as a sample to review. I didn't know what to expect but after trying it out I'm very happy with it. After charging it for a while it was pretty effortless to use. The simple buttons on the front were much easier to figure out than the orientation of the arms on a traditional opener. Do they start up? Down? Who knows? Somethings may never be clear. But I do know that this, Oster's Electric Opener gets my wine in my glass faster!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does what it's supposed to

I was impressed with the overall appearance of the item. The two toned exterior makes it look good. It appeared to be easy to clean and maintain should it become dirty or cork should break apart inside. The button on the front of the opener was large enough to manipulate when removing and discharging the cork from the opener without having to reposition my hand. The red charging light on the top of the opener seemed very large and out of place. It also was a focal point in a dimly lit room. I did like the charging light on the base to verify that the opener was properly seated.
Beyond that the wine opener worked great on real and synthetic corks. I feel that it is appropriately sized for the task of removing corks. I've only opened six bottles thus far but can't see having any issues.
The foil cutter integrated into the charging stand is great addition.
I must say it will be a lot easier opening a bottle of wine from here on out. This opener is priced making it a must have for personal use and for a gift to that friend who shares in your love for wine.
It should be noted that I received this unit to evaluate and provide my opinion.

This is a very nice wine opener. The electric wine opener work amazing. I'm so happy with this product and plan on giving this as a wedding gift.

This product works with ease, much better than a conventional corkscrew & looks more professional. The design works well with my kitchen so it doesn't look out of place & doesn't take up much space. Overall I'm very pleased with the wine opener & think it's at a great value! It's especially nice when it comes time to open the 3rd bottle of the night, much easier than traditional methods.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenient Way to Enjoy a Bottle of Wine!

When I first considered using an electric wine opener, my thought was that it was completely unnecessary. I mean, why would I need an appliance just for opening wine bottles, especially since I am more than capable of opening them manually? But after trying this Oster electric wine opener, I have seen the light. I was very pleased that with just a simple push of a button, I was ready to drink my Cabernet Sauvignon in less than a minute. This wine opener looks nice, is not too light or heavy, and the charging base is very easy to operate. The foil cutter is very handy as well. My wife and I are about to move into a much bigger house, and we are looking forward to being able to entertain several couples simultaneously. At a party, this wine opener is a must, because when opening multiple bottles of wine throughout the night, it is better to do so quickly and then get back to the host duties! My only concern with this product is that it takes up counter space in my kitchen. It's not a not of counter space required by any means, but it does get a little bit bulky when sitting on the base. I would have preferred something that is powered with AA batteries so that it wouldn't require as much space as it does. But, that's a very minor concern. In my opinion, this little appliance is a must have for anyone who enjoys wine or spends time with others who do. If you have a home bar, you need this product!! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient way to enjoy a bottle of wine!
